Great for pitching velo training than using high tier GPUs
Handles higher encoder bit-rates like a RTX 3070 so sports velo training you can get a decent resolution of RPMs from ball movement and sips lower power like an RTX 3050 or 4050 so a tiny PC build is possible. Just like past Arc GPUs, eGPU doesn't work on most consumer laptops so stuck to a desktop. Sports training this is a cheaper option for studying footage from pitching or QB ball tosses. Very silent for a twin fan design. Compact to cram into a very tiny SFF mATX case if you need a mobile training or gaming rig. If you do self baseball or softball velo training, the higher bit-rate scales better on Arc than IGP Xe graphics, you'll need a bit-rate above 5000 to study velo above 95 MPH to see detailed movement vs Quicksync IGP. Overall better value, drivers are better each time and proved Intel Iris/Xe IGP could be scaled like a dGPU.

The New Mid-Range King has Arrived—Goodbye, Overpriced GPUs!
I took a gamble on the new Intel Arc B580 "Battlemage" card, and I am absolutely floored by the performance-per-dollar here. It is safely overclocked out of the bos. ASRock has nailed the thermal design; this card runs whisper-quiet even when I’m pushing 1440p gaming to the limit. The drivers are rock solid (Intel has come such a long way!), and the AV1 encoding is a dream for streaming. It feels incredible to get this level of framerate and visual fidelity without spending a fortune. The build quality is sturdy, and it looks sleek in my case without being overly flashy.[1] This is hands down the best value GPU on the market right now. Team Blue is winning!

Fantastic 1440p Performance! This Arc B580 Surprised Me in the Best Way
Pairing the ASRock Intel Arc B580 with my AMD 9600X has been an absolute win. I game strictly in 1440p, and this card handles everything I throw at it without breaking a sweat. Zero crashes, zero stuttering, zero weird behavior — just smooth, dependable performance. The frame rates have been consistently excellent across a wide variety of games. Temps stay under control, the card runs quietly, and ASRock’s build quality is exactly what you’d expect from a big, reputable manufacturer. Installation was easy, and once it was up and running, the experience has been flawless. Intel’s Arc drivers have clearly come a long way, because this setup feels polished and stable. Honestly, the value you get here is impressive — strong 1440p performance without paying high-end prices. If you're considering an Arc card for mid-range or higher-resolution gaming, don’t hesitate. This ASRock B580 delivers, and it does it well. Highly recommended.

Impressive
The performance for the price is very impressive. Easily comparable to more costly cards. ReBar will need to be activated in bios to use the full capabilities of the graphics card. It’s easily able to run my games at high or ultra high settings with ray tracing at 1080p no issues, sitting around 60°C - 65°C and peaking at 71°C. At idle and low load 50°C and below it does shut off the fans for silent use. UPDATE: Recently started gaming at 1440p. Games like Finale Fantasy XVI and Stellar Blade I am still able to play on High and Ultra settings. I recently got Expedition 33 and this card does struggle to play that game at 1440p, everything has to be set to low except anti-aliasing set to high and Xess frame gen on and 66% upscaling. I’m still impressed with the card especially coming from a 1660 super. Expedition 33 is the first game I’ve seen it struggle with but looks like I can play it at 1080p no issues at medium/high.

Great even with older ryzen
Great card. Replaced a rx 6600 that I ran into the ground. Don't get much time to game anymore, but it is great at 1080p the few games I run when I get a chance. I haven't been able to stress test it fully with something like RDR 2. Will when I get time. But it's paired with a 5600x and ddr4 memory. Nothing seemed to be broken as some have said old Gen ryzen has. It is after an update that supposed to patch it, but still seems solid and I look forward to hitting some of the games in the near future.

Strong Performance, Excellent Value.
Using the B580 in an Oculink eGPU configuration. Excellent performance. Intel's AI Playground software makes it easy to do generative AI and LLMs. Arguably the best value in the space right now.

An excellent GPU, FOR BOTH PRODUCTIVITY AND GAMING, Sadly after i bought i realized it's not compatible with my pc my motherboard as it's PCI3 with no rebar.

Amazing. Been using for more than 6 months. I picked it up when the GPU market was a mess. All GPUs were going for like 30% over their MSRP. This card fit well in my budget. I paired this card with a Ryzen 7600x CPU and 32GB DDR5 RAM. I play on a 1440p monitor and it has run everything I have thrown at it with very few problems. Intel XESS works really well in most games and a lot more games are supporting it. Games that don't I've been using TAA or FSR. I ran all these games mostly at high settings usually with XESS upscaling and sometimes frame gen: Fortnite/Marvel Rivals/ Call of Duty Black Ops 6 / Battlefield 2042/ Battlefield 6 / Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth / Kingdom Come : Deliverance 2 / Cyberpunk 2042 / Elden Ring / Indian Jones The only game I personally had a problem with was Avowed on Xbox game pass. Even though it was not as a demanding game as some others I play, for some reason it just looked and ran really badly. I have no Idea why. I'm sure an update would fix it.

Everyone talks about the B580 as a great mid-range GPU for gamers, but who are not professional players. Well, it's true. This is an excellent GPU. So far I have not had the driver issues feared by others. No instability. Top performance for its range. The only real problem is that the Intel assistant sometimes wants to install the same driver multiple times because it does not realize it has already done so. I can live with that. Otherwise, I enjoy it and recommend this GPU to anyone who is in doubt, but also has a budget to stick to.

I've been using it for a few days now, had some hiccups at the start. Youtube in my browsers had issues and fps drops in games I play (dota2 and hogwarts legacy), but after updating the drivers and tweaking some settings, it's working well now. Hoping not to encounter any further issues.
