We have been looking for a high quality rice for our Plov dishes, and this one was absolutely amazing! definitely will be purchasing in the future.

Versitile long grain white rice
This is my second rice variety from Arashan. I liked the first one and this one is good too. This order contains two good sized bag of dried rice from Kyrgyzstan. This appears to be a long grain, white rice. It cooks up plump and fluffy. There is a very mild flavor (but I find that with all rice). I think this would work in just about any rice dish. Overall, I am happy with this rice.

The rice has a great taste, delicious and authentic. It cooks up fluffy and light with each grain staying separate which is exactly what I look for in a high quality long grain rice. The flavor is subtle yet rich making it versatile for various recipes. The texture is perfect and it absorbs flavors well, making every dish I prepare with it taste more authentic and flavorful. I also appreciate that it cooks evenly without sticking together or becoming mushy. However I do find it a bit expensive for the amount you get especially considering the price point. The two pack provides a decent quantity but compared to other rice options it feels slightly pricey for what is essentially a specialty rice. For everyday use it might be considered a splurge, but for special occasions or authentic recipes it definitely delivers quality. Overall I would recommend it for those who want a premium rice for special dishes but budget conscious shoppers might want to consider alternatives for regular use. The quality is excellent and it truly elevates the dishes I prepare, making it a worthwhile investment if you enjoy traditional recipes and are looking for an authentic touch.
