I had to return this as I bought this for my grandfather as the the card holder broke as soon as I opened up and I wanted to put anything in it. It was loose some of the parts so I don’t recommend. I think they have a quality assurance problem.

Got it for my Mother she didn't know how to use the Android phones this phone is very simple it's waterproof made very well it's super rugged

Worse phone ever unless your a kid.

I bought this for my mother-in-law who is 85 and wanted another "stupid phone." She doesn't text, so I can't comment on that. I set all the directional buttons to go to the phone book, which is the only thing she really uses. It works fine for her once she got used to it. She does still turn the flashlight on occasionally, but now knows how to turn it off. My one major issue with this phone is that it drops off the network every few days and has to be rebooted. (I'm sure there's another way, but rebooting is easiest to have her do. Works on the T-Mobile network.

The AGM M8 cell phone is your very basic phone that has no smart features. You can make calls, send text messages andd send pictures that you take with its built-in 2MP camera. The volume is extra loud on everything and the ringer is so loud it can wake the dead. The large buttons are a major plus if you struggle with eye sight and the tactile feel of the buttons when you press them. The screen is direct sunlight readable which is a major plus especially when you are outdoors. It does have a flash light and surprisingly an FM radio so you can tune into your favorite station or for weather alerts in an emergency. The camera is nothing to write home about as the pictures are very pixilated but you could make out what it is but nothing like an iPhone or Samsung smart device. This is a rugged phone that can take a bit of punishment as it is water resistant to a point. Like rain or accidentally being dropped in a pool as the connections and the battery door have a rubber gasket around it to keep it water tight. The case of the phone does feel very solid and nice in the hand as well do the buttons are all easy too get to with one hand. The battery life is excellent so you can go about a week or more without having to charge it. Charging is as simple as putting it on the included dock and it just charges. It does come with a power adapter that is USB-C and you can charge the phone directly via USB-C as well so you always have a way to charge it. The battery can be replaced with a very readily available Nokia BL-5J battery that is not expensive at all. Overall this is a worth while rugged phone for people that just want to make calls with their phone and some added conveniences like having a camera or radio while they are doing things outside.
