Not effective as advertised. No instruction how to use it. Too expensive.

Being a single dad is tough no doubt, but when my 20 year old son asked me to make him Coconut Shrimp, I couldn't say no. I pulled out my T-Fal deep fryer which is amazing since it has an oil storage container built in. Anyways, I needed to make sure I change out the oil as it was starting to get dirty. I never knew they made something like this oil solidifier product so I took a chance on buying it when I saw it. Please keep in mind that this product does come with a scoop inside but it is muried halfway down in the container. After I fried the shrimp, I turned off my deep fryer and immediately threw in about 15 scoops into my deep fryer. That is how much I needed to use since I had 1 liter of vegetable oil. Stirred it around a bit, did the dishes, watched some TV, and then went to bed. I didn't think it was going to work because I had so much oil. The next morning when I went into the kitchen to check on it, the oil was solidified. I just had to take a spatula to pull it out and in the garbage it went. Eazy-Peazy.

This works very well on the actual fat and grease. However, most of the broth, drippings, and other non-fat juices don't gel, but since they are not fat, they can just be poured down the disposal.
