Great Crash Cart Tool
This is such a great idea for a crash cart. I have lots of little edge devices tucked away in odd places, and getting to them to troubleshoot the occasional issue has been a pain. Well, not anymore with this bad boy. It has all of the ports needed to connect to headless systems and it has an integrated battery.

doesn't live up to its promise
I really wanted to like this. it's such a great concept. the execution is quite lacking, unfortunately:- the trackpad has a very rough surface. it feels like the same plastic used on the keyboard. its fine on the keyboard, but on a trackpad it feels very harsh on the fingers and unpleasant to use.- the pageup/pagedown/home/end keys are just to the right of the return/delete keys, which I'm really used to being the rightmost keys. so I'm constantly hitting the wrong keys.- I was already going to return it due to the above issues, and was planning a 3 star rating. but I was still trying to use it for managing a machine. right in the middle of typing to the machine, the keyboard got stuck into Function mode, so every key with a Function version would try and trigger its Function instead of typing normally. There is a Function Lock feature on the keyboard but toggling this did nothing. power cycling the machine did nothing. seems like it just broke.Overall, the feeling is cheap and a bit disappointing for the price, but it's such a useful item that if it weren't for the above problems I'd be happily keeping it. Fix the trackpad feel, the key layout, and the reliability and this is a winning product. I -LOVED- how I can charge my SBC directly from the laptop while interacting with it. Such a great concept.

Works extremely well with Motorola or Samsung phones
Waiting for resolution of shipping issue. I ordered this monitor/keyboard with a raspberry pi 5. The raspberry pi did not arrive. Will update when raspberry arrives.

So many uses, this is a must have for everyone... not just power users
As I type this, my kids are using it to watch Bluey from my iPhone using the device since their tablet is dead. I've used as a second screen to my MacBook Air. I use it as a console for my "HomeLab" server. And I use it to plugin numerous raspberry pis to quickly test stuff. So many different use cases that it's a no-brainer for this price. Hell.... you can use it to charge your phone's battery in a pinch. If I were electro, I'd raise the price by $50, put nicer speakers, a nicer keyboard, double the battery capacity, and make it chargeable via USB-C. Or maybe just offer "Pro" version with this upgrades.

Power problem
I purchased the CrowView Note to use with a Raspberry Pi 5. The CrowView Note turns on and displays its boot screen. It doesn’t detect a signal from the RPi5 then goes to power saving mode. The RPi5 never receives any power from the CrowView. I haven’t been able to find a phone number for the elecrow company and they haven’t replied to my emails nor to my post on their forums. That’s my experience so far.2025-01-20 Update: Got an email from elecrow. On the larger of the two supplied boards, there is a switch, shown above, labeled K2. The switch comes set in the off position. Move it to the on position. In the sparse documentation that comes the the CrowView Note doesn’t mention the switch.

Novel Concept, Minor Adapter Concerns, I kind of like it.
This is a novel idea. I have their RasPi in a suitcase product as well. This works well enough with the RasPi5, but I bought it to use with an Nvidia Jetson. Although they claim Jetson support, unlike the RasPi adapter, it was not a simple plug and play for the Jetson Orin Nano, and possibly other versions. Expect to purchase a short cable or two. Is it better than just using an old laptop as a terminal? I like it a little better, but obviously it isn't huge. I guess if you were writing something like a keyboard based game it would make a difference. I like the fact that I am working directly with the board. I can't make a compelling case for this device, but at least for now I am happy with the purchase.
