Fast! 4TB with Apple Silicon Mac twice the speed of previous generation. Ouchy expensive, though.
Fast! This Gen.3 version is about twice as fast as the previous Gen.2 yet (in my case) stores twice as much, like the USB4 (well implemented -works with all my Apple Silicon Macs). Expensive, did I mention fast though? Does get warm in use - unsure how long it will last but has a limited 5 year Warranty.

Blistering speed
I use this to offload very large photos from my MacBook after holidays for editing on my PC. It has truly blistering speed, and has been incredibly reliable in the few months that I’ve been using it. Just make sure that your motherboard has the correct port, and also to use the included cable.

Great item, prices have gone crazy though.

COUNTERFIT UNIT
DO NOT BUY. My item was a counterfeit. I ordered paying for and expecting a genuine SanDisk Extreme Pro USB4 but the unit i receive is not authentic. Several issues confirm this: No valid serial number. No valid QR code. Performing test show speeds far bellow the real Extreme Pro specifications. It does not appear in macOS under Thunderbolt/USB4 - which a genuine model does. Transfer speed extremely slow, over 3 hours for 500 GB (real one does this in couple minutes).

Blazingly Fast Backup !!
Sandisk Extreme Pro 4TB with USB4 3800 MB/S (larger one) next to Sandisk Extreme Portable 2TB 1050 MB/S SSD. Really nice data transfer rates. A little bit warmer than cool while operational. Buy with confidence

Use with my Mac for file backup and find that transfer speeds from Mac to SSD via Thunderbolt cable is very fast. No issues nor problems encountered thus far.

A bit bigger than earlier models but probably correlated to components that makes it's transfer velocities so extremely rapid. If time is important it is worth the price.

Your computer must support Thunderbolt/USB 4.0 to be able to unlock the full potential of the extreme pro. If your computer only has USB 3.0 or 3.2 then save your money, just go with extreme 1050 MB/S version. I bought the extreme pro 3800 MB/S version. My laptop supports Thunderbolt 4.0 and after tested it can go above 3000 MB/S. Definitely not as claimed but it's a very good performance for a USB SSD. I also tried with normal USB 3.2 port and the speed down to about 1100/S. So save some money if your computer only have USB 3.2. Another plus side is that after roughly 10GBs of R/W test, the disk does not feel hot.
