While using the product, I noticed my menstrual cycle became irregular, which had never happened before. After stopping the tallow balm, my cycle returned to normal, and after consulting my doctor (who confirmed this was the only change in my routine and reviewing a complete physical + blood work), we agreed that the product was likely the cause.I still recommend this product for its incredible skin benefits, especially for those dealing with eczema, dry patches, or sensitive skin — but I suggest using it with awareness, especially if you’re sensitive to hormone-related changes. I’ve been using the Vanilla Latte scent on my face twice a day for the last two weeks. It’s always been hard for me to find moisturizers that work with my skin since I’m very prone to breakouts and have oily skin in some places on my face and dry, flaky skin in others.This beef tallow is a game changer for me! I put it on first thing in the morning and last thing at night. I now have practically no acne, my skin looks and feels much smoother than it ever has, and I’ve pretty much stopped using foundation at all because my skin looks amazing without it. Yesterday a coworker told me “you look different, you have the glow of a pregnant lady without the pregnancy part!” I knew I had to write a review after that.As someone who is used to using a lot of moisturizer, I was a little hesitant due to how small the jar was compared to the giant bottles of lotion I typically buy, however, I only need a very tiny amount to cover my entire face because it spreads so well. It’ll probably take me a couple months to go through an entire jar if I continue only using it only on my face. It feels amazing on the skin, smells absolutely heavenly, and has given me more skin improvement in less time than even most topical medications.I know that everyone’s skin is different and what works for some might not work for all but I definitely recommend you at least give it a try!

I have been using this for months now and it hasn’t clogged my pores. I still get acne but that’s usually hormones. The unscented ones are my favorite because I can use essential oils if I want for my own smells. I wasn’t a fan of the vanilla latte because to me it smells like burnt coffee. It doesn’t feel greasy and absorbs nicely. Kinda leaves a dewy finish. The use it on my lips as well and carry it in my purse. I actually stopped using makeup except mascara because it took away my redness! I also started using vitamin c serums recently before applying tallow and I get an even more glowy look!

The lavender vanilla is super subtle and the whipped texture is amazing. Absorbs quickly and makes my skin feel super soft. Worth noting that the product def still has a slight bovine scent--it kind of smells like the bones I buy for my dog. It was kind of off-putting at first so I ended up adding some extra lavender essential oil to further mask the scent. Overall I think I would buy this again--it's really hard to find a clean and effective moisturizer so I'm excited to add this to my routine and see how my skin likes it.I have extremely sensitive skin so I'll try to come back and update if I run into any issues. I also got the vanilla dream lip balm and it only smells like creamy vanilla which is amazing. So glad I found this brand!!UPDATE: May 12, 2025 and I’m still loving this product!! I use it on my face and body and it leaves me feeling moisturized for over 24hrs. No issues with breakouts at all. I’m blown away by how effective this product is. Like others note—a little goes a long way! I also quickly became used to the scent I had mentioned—I was definitely applying too heavily at first which didn’t help! 😂 anyway I will 100% be buying this again when I run out!! It’s genuinely worth every penny.

I love how my skin feels after I apply this, id just say apply it before bed, it does have a "meaty" scent to it so that'll help with that or else you will have that smell throughout the day... other than that I love it so much.

My wife is obsessed with the vanilla latte scent. We unfortunately received our first order with a packaging defect resulting in a loss of product. We swiftly contacted amallow via email and they responded quicker than we expected. Then apologized for the inconvenience, and sent another jar along with a lip balm. Their customer service more than exceeded our expectations.The product itself is very moisturizing. A little goes a long way. My wife is amazed at how long it lasts she said she doesn’t have to reapply constantly. Very great product, very great customer service, and a very happy wife!

I love this stuff! Was looking for something that didn't have harsh chemicals in it. Loved that it was made in the US! I do agree with some of the reviews that it might seems a little greasy but you just need to learn how much to apply and you won't notice that. I like the smell. My daughter got a bad sunburn on her legs, we used this and it helped tone down the burn and she never peeled! Seems to be lasting a long time. I use this daily. Has helped with dry cracked heels. It's just fantastic!
