Virginia Salted Extra Large Peanuts Cooked in Pure Peanut Oil the Peanut Choice 9 Ounce (Pack of 4)

I absolutely love Virginia Peanuts, and they are not a common item in Northeast grocery stores. These days, of course, just about anything your heart desires can be found online. Bonus - these Virginia Peanuts come in snack sized bags. I was so excited when they arrived. They are absolutely delicious! They were shipped neatly and carefully, and I will most certainly buy again.

My husband loves these Virginia peanuts. He ate a whole can in just two sittings. They are very flavorful, fresh and crunchy with a long expiration date and just the right amount of salt. They are worth the higher cost. After eating these, you don't want to return to eating regular peanuts again. These do not taste overly processed. High quality. Wish these were sold in different quantity choices though, maybe 2, 3 or 4? Just one would be gone too soon to satisfy you.

These nuts were fresh, not too salty and we are really enjoying them. I was hoping this was the brand of nuts I was gifted a few years ago but it’s definitely not. I was looking for a blister fried extra large peanut that the blisters were large enough you could see them, this is not what I had hoped for but still a really good nut.

These are the best peanuts, hands down, no arguments. I first had Virginia peanuts last Christmas when we visited Mount Vernon and they sold them in the gift shop. From the first handful I was hooked. They really do taste better, have a great crunch. I bought a big can to work, before the virus hit, the beg. of 2020 and the entire office fell for them. At first they were wondering why I had a big can of peanuts at my desk, and when I told them it was the best peanut they would ever have they were dubious. A peanut's a peanut - or so they thought. One try and that was it. Several people said they were creamy, buttery tasting, more crunchy than the 'standard' peanut. One of my co-workers is from Virginia, and when he saw the can he became my new best friend. You have VA peanuts! and put out his hand. I now always make sure I have them around.

It is difficult to find non-GMO peanuts and we’ve been ordering these for years. They are always well packaged and fresh. Even when we purchase a value pack of four at a time by the time we get to the last box, it is still fresh and delicious. Large size and perfectly salted.

Right out of the package these peanuts are much more tasty than other little packets of peanuts available all over. They taste fresh and almost sweet. BUT, spread them on a cookie sheet and roast/warm them in a 250 F oven for 12 minutes and they get this OMG quality. It isn't just me saying so, everyone who has visited and been fed these roasted peanuts remarks on how good they are. The bowl is always empty within an hour or so.

I was disappointed with these redskin peanuts. I grew up eating the other brand's redskins as my Dad always had them on hand to watch sporting events. As stated, these are Virginia Peanuts which I think is the big difference. The other brand gets theirs from the Southwest, as I recall. The Feridies Virginia Red skins are much larger. That is pretty much my regular experience with Virginia Peanuts. They are pretty nuts, large, but low on flavor. I was hoping these would be different. Another disappointment is that only about 40% of the nuts have the skins on them. As one reviewer noted, these have less oil on them. That may make them more healthful. I guess that is a plus. Note this is one of amazon's non-returnable items. Otherwise, I would take them back.
