Used on a LawnMower that was getting hard to start, works GREAT!
Riding Mower used to "Click" but not crank sometimes. My electrical meter showed that it was OK when tested, but still not reliable. Replaced it with this one. Much heavier duty than the original equipment. Now my mower starts like a charm!

Really well made
Visually and feel-wise - really good quality. Time will tell on longevity but I am pleased with the product out of the box.

So far so good
I used this solenoid to replace my starter solenoid on a four wheeler. Easy instal and works as it should. I had an issue originally getting it to work with the turn of the key. I could jump it across the terminals and get my quad to start. Turns out it was a grounding issue that was easily resolved.

Good value
Replacement for a continuous solenoid on an electric golf cart. If you have a gas golf cart and you need to replace the “starter” solenoid, this is not the type you want. They function quite differently and are not interchangeable

Short use and fear of fire
I purchased this product because I needed a continuous duty solenoid to keep two 12v batteries wired in parallel charged while driving the vehicle but not engaged while the engine is off, so my engine battery would not lose its charge because of the two house batteries draining it without my knowledge. It took some time to install the system and get my Chevy cargo van ready for some distance camping. But even before I left town, I discovered that the solenoid was getting hotter than I could even touch and my automatic breaker kept cycling. The odd thing was that I didn't have my inverter turned on nor any of my inside lighting (which wouldn't have been much). The only thing that was going on was the solenoid providing power from the alternator to keep the two house batteries charged. Nothing on the device indicates it's a continuous duty device and nothing on the device indicates the rated amperage. I'm quite disappointed that the device I purchased didn't even last for a single camping trip but gave me enough unrest, over perhaps suddenly bursting into flames, that I disconnected the device. And since I purchased the device June of 2019 and it's now August of 2020, I can't even return it for a refund. So, it's a total bust and I would caution other buyers to be aware and make certain you thoroughly check it out before getting into a desolate area and finding that it's just not what it should be.

Fixed charging issue with my motorhome NI-4412A solenoid not working
Symptom....coach batteries do not get charge from alternator and chassis batteries do not get charge from converter. This is located in the battery control center where your coach batteries are located. Pop the cover and you will see this behind the circuit board. Record and remove all the connectors to the BCC and detach from bay. (Makes it a lot easier to remove solenoid) This replaces the NI-4412A solenoid in the RV. It looks intimidating to remove and replace but it really isn't. Just make sure you record where all of the wires connect to.

Golf Cart riders
For all you Golf Cart riders. I normally do not write reviews, but when its necessary to prevent accident or harm, then I find myself doing the right thing and writing one. I have a 2017 Yamaha G29/ drive electric golf cart. I installed this solenoid hoping for better performance. Pretty easy to install. After installation, I gave it the test ride. The solenoid had a loud click when mashing the gas to engage it, which my old one did not. J hunt from my cart, so this was a negative. I headed down the road to neighbors house which is 600 feet one way, I know exactly, because I built the fence that runs parallel with the test ride, the cart did not perform any better. I turned around at my neighbors and came back another 600 feet, 1200 total. Pulled up at my shop, went to feel of the solenoid and it was way over 300 F. I could not even touch it. I left my cart sitting for a while and used pliers to hold the solenoid while I unwired it to remove it from cart. I would be scared to death to run this thing frequently on a golf cart and park the cart in your carport, shop per say. It might very well burn it to the ground. I really wished it had worked, but it didnt.

These work good. Only one caution. Be careful when you put the nut back on. The thread is copper (soft metal) and easy to get on cross threaded. I damaged the thread on one but was able to fix it.

It works as stated in info from manufacturer and it has been working great since I installed cover two months ago. Price point was very good compared to original equipment. Fit/form and function is same as original equipment.

As others have mentioned, this solenoid gets very hot when turned on, even when it's not actually passing any current. The current draw to turn the solenoid on appears to be just under an amp. I used this to turn on the power to a sailboat windlass. Although it worked well enough, I was significantly concerned with how hot it gets. So I replaced it with a name brand version which runs quite cool.
