Anything that costs less is less capable. 30w non detergent is straight mineral oil, none the additives necessary for compressor health. I bought 30w before I learned the difference. Fun fact I could have purchased more refined mo from wallyworld pharmacy didnt know it. The additives are necessary, they are consumables, air comp oil can look fine but the additives are gone/done their job. So hour meter etc best indicator. My compressor was made in 1954 a rebuild might be possible given plenty of time and money to source parts, im not that guy so got to keep it from breaking.
