AMOLEN 51 PCS 3D Filament Storage Bag Vacuum Kit with Two Sizes

Works well, only on my first uses of the bags but they seem to seal well. A bit of pumping to get the air out but not too bad and great for the price.

I use this for all of my printer filiment. I was surprised by how good of a vacuum it produced using the bags that came with it. No leaks on any of the bags' sides or seals so far. Vacumn seems as good as what came with the filament's factory package.

Hand pump can't make a seal on bag. Vacuum indicator circle is not lined up to valve. design doesn't really make sense as there is no way to extract air from the bag because the valve has no volume. Hand pump is terrible quality and breaks at O ring seal because it can't pull any air out of the bag. One of the desiccant packs was just a sheet of paper that had the silica gel printed on it but no beads inside because it was just a sheet and not a packet. Edit: great support from the seller on the broken pump. Offered easy refund. Raising rating based on fast and easy service.

Humidity Indicators do not work for me. Used them in a variety of ways and no go. Bags are good and pump is easy to use.

The vacuum bags are difficult to get a good seal on. About 10% of my bags relax after a few days and must be revacuumed. I believe this to be a fault of the vacuum disc. These come with moisture-sensing paper, which never changes from blue, and thus are useless. the vacuum pump works well.

***Update*** These bags are terrible. I use my electric vacuum sealer on the bags. The nozzle had to be repositioned at least 10 times before it can remove air from the bags. Then you can hear air leeching back into the bags from the pump seal immediately after its finished. This is on new bags. Find yourself a different brand or you will only have constant headaches. First of all the hand pump that comes with these bags is terrible. The bags do work but it's not easy getting the vacuum to begin. I have to adjust my position over the vacuum hole 6 or 8 times before the air begins vacuuming from the bags. I ordered a hand vacuum pump for my electric vacuum sealer and still have the same problem. I thought it was just a bad pump that came with the bags but I was wrong. Once they are sealed they do seem to hold their seal most of the time. I did have 1 bag that would not stay sealed.

I have no complaints. They’ve maintained their seal on multiple different filaments. I’m at the point now that I have nearly all the bags in use and it’s time to think about reordering. The only anomaly that I’ve had was with Hatchbox black PLA. The bag partially filled with air. I thought it was a rupture in the bag but it turns out that after the same issue with a few bags doing the same thing with the same filament and the bags in question work fine with other filaments I’ve concluded that it’s the filament producing a gas to fill the bag. Strange that it would gas off and fill the bag. Especially from what I would consider a premium filament. I expected the little hand pump to bite the dust by now but it’s still working great. I’m about to buy my second batch so I’d give it an A+. I haven’t used the Desiccants/Humidity Indicator Cards. I keep the desiccant that came with the filament with it or with the Hatchbox I’ve added extra from a large jug that I purchased. I need to try the indicator cards and see what they say. If time permits I’ll update this review.

Bags seem like they are good quality, nice and thick. Manual air pump already broke. Oring that seals the chamber tore so kit is useless without a new one that they do not sell separate.
