I’ve got both the large and extra-large. The large is big enough for an average size (around 10 pound) cat if you’re willing to get a very very tight wrap on the cat. Besides that the large is only really good for kittens and small juvenile cats. For most adult cats, even small 5 or 6 pound cats, you want the extra large to be able to easily get them wrapped. I can’t imagine what the medium and small sizes could be good for except kittens, if even that. All that about the sizes that being said, I have to say that this thing works great. I have bought several different types of cat wraps and cat bags and cat restraints, including the hundred dollar comfort wrap and several different types of collars. The $100 comfort wrap, which is by far the best of all the cat bag type of restraints, is great for doing complicated things at a vet like an ultrasound or having the blood pressure taken or blood drawn because once the cat is so zippered up in it, it’s got all these little Velcro windows you can open to different parts of the cats body. But for just doing daily things like giving oral medication it’s a lot of work getting the cat into that. This wrap is great for restraining the cat in order to do frequent tasks such as daily oral meds because it’s so quick and easy to get on and take off. For one of my cats, I don’t even have to wrap them fully in it. I just wrap it around their head like a poncho with the majority of it in front of them so they can’t raise their front paws to bat at me when I’m giving them their daily meds.

This does work to keep the cat still to cut his nails. The only drawback is that it sticks to itself so you need to be patient getting it ready for kitty. Also, the sizing is off. I organically purchased a medium and had to go back and get an X large. Gave the medium size to a friend with a small cat.

My cat is psycho I have a six-year-old tuxedo he will not let us cut his nails he growls he hisses he does everything he scares me lol I bought this hoping I can cut his nails but that did not work he did not like it at all and freaked out and I could not cut his nails it may work for someone else but it didn’t work for my pain in the butt cat

I've used this for 5 weeks on a 12lb female calico that was labeled aggressive by the ER vets (she had a difficult life before we rescued her. She's usually a sweety). She's a fairly standard size cat in length. I purchased an XL because I also have 2 larger (~17lbs) cats and *thought* I could use it on them, if need be. So the first time I wrapped her, I didn't know too much what I was doing. The wrap was small. How could this be an XL? I managed, but then I decided to watch more YT videos. The helped some, but I will say this wrap is still small and there's no way I will be able to wrap the 2 others. The cling (of opposite sides of the wrap) works great. It really holds but when I need to open the wrap, it's easy. It's liek magic! I can wrap her rather quickly now. My tips for success: place the cat in the middle of the wrap. If she'll lay on her tummy, that's great, else, place her on her side (legs opposite of the side you'll start on). Next, take one end (I'm right-handed so start with the right while I hold her down with my left) and wrap *across* her neck, holding it a little snug. I use by left hand to now include the wrap around neck and then bring the left side over to the right. Basically, you want to wrap the neck first and then work your way down. Once you've got her somewhat wrapped, you can adjust as needed. My girl does try to her paws through any gap by her head, so check that as soon as she's stable. Easy to tighten a little. Do not go on the head or too high on the neck because you'll want to be able to move the neck and head and stroke the throat. It takes a few practices, but I hope these tips help. Course, every cat is different. I'd give this 3 stars because the sizing is so terrible but it really does work great if you can get one that fits. Size WAY up

I have a partially handicapped kitty. Her back legs are weak but her from legs are super strong (she uses them to climb since she can't jump). She's in diapers and when she poops I have to wash her butt. She hates it and will scratch me to pieces.... until this magical velcro-type material came into my life! I just wrap her up like a taco and leave her rear end exposed. Her strength is absolutely no match and I can get the job done scratch free! Ive never seen material like this but it's amazing, strong, thick, and super cute! The large size truly is LARGE and will hold any size cat! A++++

This product works great, however the sizing is extremely off. The xl is basically a small. The medium is xsmall and Thor xsmall is xxxx small. What I’m going to do is buy another xl abs sew them together because there are no better options right now on Amazon. I use these to swaddle my dog patience when I clean their teeth. I need one that can fit a med dog and a large dog.

I have several cats and a few of them are NOT receptive to me clipping their nails without a fight and sometimes takes a few days. My Vet and the vet tech told me about this wrap and proceeded to show me with the cat that used my arms to create a bloody artwork when trying to get her into her carrier for a sick kitty vet visit. They showed me how it attaches to itself and makes the kitty all snug. They sucesfuully clipped her nails and she could do nothing about it. I immediately went home and ordered it! Does take some trial and error, but I have sucessfully clipped my cat's nails with them being wrapped up. This is WAY better then using a towel to try and imbolize them and also being scratched up. The cat that made me by it is due for a vet visit soon, and I will most likley wrap her up to get her into the carrier- just not really sure how to unwrap her so she has mobility and not fight her way back out. I am an experienced and long time cat owner so I know just about every trick to get them into a carrier.

This was so easy to wrap the kittens in and so helpful in giving them their meds that weren't the tastiest for them.

The size L is too small for my 9 lbs cat

Works very well, if you know how to wrap a stressed cat.

I like that the blanket literally has a gorilla glue hold around my 6 month old calico with earmites. I could clean her ears out without worrying about if i was going to get clawed, she didn't even bite. It held even when she wanted to scratch with her back feet, honestly she looked like a worm. 🤭 this blanket is a must have for cat owners to save on money from the vet. I also used Wahl's pet ear cleaner it does the job

You should let people choose the pattern. I ordered two in case I hate them and won’t use it and unfortunately I got the pattern that I hate the most. Had to return them.
