I really loved the protein bars. It is an excellent on-the go meal. They are very filling and amazing but not overwhelmingly sweet, which is good. They have an Incredible taste for such whole and clean ingredients with 16g of grass-fed protein. My favorite flavor of these protein bars is the caramel but my least favorite flavor was the cacao. The cacao flavor reminds me of coffee, which I do not like. The texture is soft and chewy. The protein bars felt a bit greasy on my fingers but that did not affect how delicious they were. Overall, I highly recommend these protein bars. I personally feel like these bars would be a #1 seller if the price was lowered.

I have seen many mixed reviews on these, and it seems like you either like the flavor/texture or you don’t. I will say, if you’re only accustomed to highly processed, artificially sweetened, protein bars (which let’s be honest is most of what you’ll find on the market) you probably won’t like these because they are clean with real ingredients and only subtlety sweetened. I eat mostly single ingredient foods and dislike overly sweetened things, especially stevia/sucralose so I truly love the flavor and texture of these bars. The salted caramel is my favorite, I already ordered another box of that flavor. 2nd in line would be the cacao. I did not like the coffee flavor and wouldn’t buy it again. It wasn’t bad, just not my preference. It is also the softest of the 3 bars texture wise, so if you don’t like the chewy texture this may be the one for you. Which brings me to my next point: I noticed there is a slight bit of variation in texture/consistency bar to bar, which is completely normal because there are no preservatives. I’ve read a few reviews of people complaining of an oil residue on top and wondering what it is. Well, it’s beef tallow duh. I don’t see any issues with this. The cacao is the 2nd softest in texture after the coffee, and salted caramel is the chewiest. Personally I like to work for my food, and this is my favorite bar so I have no problem with it. Anyone who doesn’t typically use much jaw strength to chew their food may have an issue with this texture. Overall I would give these 4 instead of 5 stars because of the price. If they brought it down a bit I would stock up!

Without a doubt these are some very clean protein bars! As someone with IBS and gerd, I’m happy to say that these didn’t irritate my gut! A very big plus for those with gut issues :). I give these bars 3 stars for their taste. I understand that they’re not supposed to be very sweet like other protein bars, but these come across as savory to my palate. You can really taste the beef tallow in these; it almost tastes like there’s collagen powder in them. Not a big fan of that. The texture is okay, pretty chewy & and a bit taffy like. I’d say my favorite flavor is the salted caramel one, it tasted a bit like cookie dough to me in a way!

So if you are ordering these bars for how healthy and clean they are, hopefully you can overlook the other “flaws” about them. They aren’t the best as far as texture BUT I know I’m getting amazing things for my body by eating them. They are very filling and good for a quick breakfast or meal replacement. Salted Carmel is the best. They all do have the cocao nips in them which makes them a bit gritty. When the bar is in perfect shape (not smashed from Amazon delivery) the bars taste great and aren’t too messy. Just always have a napkin to eat them as the tallow is a bit greasy.

I am starting a GLP-1 and I wanted a bar with good ingredients that was balanced to eat in the morning with my coffee. The ingredient list is stellar. But the taste is horrible. You have to know I have eaten MANY protein bars in my time. I worked for a supplement store for a time and we just munched on them because they are easy protein and fast and we got a lot of free samples. I am not that picky when it comes to bars, but this is truly the WORST bar I have ever tasted. I will eat them because I need the protein in the morning but I am not buying these again. I am afraid I might not even be able to finish the two boxes I got once the GLP really kicks in hard-they taste THAT bad.

Okay so these bars taste so great and really love the variety of flavors especially the salted caramel. They not only taste great but are healthy as well and limited ingredients as I am looking for a healthier bar that gives me energy and has the protein, I need to fuel my workout and as a snack. What i Love about these is they almost taste more like a dessert bar and are filling so tide me over until next meal so better to eat these as a snack on their own due to being more filling. The only thing for some is they are a little higher in price so I would wait for discounts before purchasing and they are more filling for those looking for a lighter snack. But for overall taste being healthy and texture they are amazing.
