Value for money But One thing is it leaks water when it is put downward

What a superb iron this has turned out to be ; light, good steam and clothes come out well ironed. easy to fill water or drain it at the end.

Amazing product and quality, but keep in mind you cannot connect this to your regular sockets in the bedroom. it requires power socket as it comes with bigger plug of 16A which is only available in kitchen areas usually. Generally not recommended to use converters as it harm your wiring. this is a big drawback for this product!

Buy at your own risk! The product is of poor quality that it will not last even in the warranty period. I am writing this after using product for 1.5 years and still within warranty! I have had to get it repaired twice and now the the thermostat has stopped working. And worst of all the customer service is so poor that they have stopped responding, maybe they are afraid that they will have to replace the iron! Have tried to escalate to the senior mgmt but no response... Because of this low quality product I have damaged clothes costing more than the iron itself! Best to avoid this brand and go in for some other one..

Its quite light for a steam iron. it does not have the heft needed to ironout creases in coton shirts, leave alone pants. Steam delivery is nice and good, but this is ok for ladies dresses than for gents wear. The red body makes it impossible for seeing water level. very annoying. my previous X950 was hunderd times better. If you want a good steam iron buy something heavier.

Balance of price and service.

It is a best iron box in this range. It feels weight and make the ironing easy. The steam toggle button is slightly tight but it's OK as it throws a huge amount of steam. You will enjoy ironing with this black + decker ironing box. It look very good and rich as it build quality is very impressive. If you r a going to buy a iron box under or above 2000 then I will prefer this iron box (Black + Decker 1600W)
