Good value stones
These stones represent super value for money, compared to some of the very expensive stones that are available from other manufacturers. The stones were delivered in good packaging ensuring they were in pristine condition when delivered.I bought these stones to sharpen several kitchen knives which were extremely dull. I have only sharpened one knife so far but the stones do the job very well considering this is my first time using a sharpening stone to sharpen kitchen knives. They seem like they have enough quality to get good results on but not so expensive that they are at risk of a novice sharpener like my self damaging them through poor technique.

Really Great, fixes and sharpens damaged blades
Very good whetstone. Takes a little bit of practice to get the knife angle right. Also the rubber base doesn't completely hold the stone still so it does move a little when using. With that said, I would still recommend this product.

Great sharpening stone, great price
This sharpening stone is excellent. Use of the stone is easy with a little practice and enable one to achieve razor sharp results with ease. The ebook supplied is easy to understand and there are a number of YouTube videos which feature these stones, and also help in gaining skills like a pro. Can't stop sharpening my knives and cutting tools now!

Great starter whetstone
Can't disagree with it for the price. It created a good slurry and seemed to be true to the stated grit levels (which are perfect for fixing up damaged knives). Decently sized stone too. Packaging was perfectly adequate for protecting it in transport. Smoothening stone is probably unnecessary but it's a nice extra.

Razor sharp
It might be strange for some, but I could finally cut a ripe tomato without making a tomato juice out of it. Never used wet stones before, but it was easy to use and the result was pretty good. No complains so far, but I will see how it performs in a couple of months...

Don't fear the whetstone
I was slightly fearful of trying to use a whetstone but my knives were dull and my ceramic wheel sharpener wasn't doing the job anymore. On my 'good' knives (Global) which are hard steel, it took a while to smooth out some of the bigger issues (couple of small nicks) but it did the job. All knives now razor sharp! On cheaper knives with softer steel it was much quicker and got them to a good edge.Never used a better stone so can't compare but this certainly did the job for me.

Great quality, great value.
I chose this after seeing a youtuber (burrfection) doing a comparison between the sharp pebble stone and a 'higher end' stone, the conclusion being that the sharp pebble achieved something like 80% of the finish of a stone many times the price. I was tempted to buy the whetstone cutlery version but went with sharp pebble because it came with two things I would have otherwise had to buy separately; the flatting stone and the rubber stand! So it was perfect for my needs and it works very well, would recommend.

Small
Smaller stone than standard.Sent back as it will be hard to use with such a small surface. Will go for the more expensive but larger Miniosharp version used previously.

Ottima
Pietra ottima! Funziona perfettamente ovviamente, nonostante sintetica comunque è ad un buonissimo livello di lavoro. Carina anche la pietra flattening in aggiunta ed il packaging di spedizione abbastanza curato. Consiglio

Good Intro Combination Wetstone
I've been trying to improve my knife sharpening skills and picked this up on sale since it's ~half the price of better known stones (e.g. King) - I figured if I end up needing something better this one can be retired to the garage. It's a stone so not much to say there. One side is 400, the 1000 grit. I have no way of measuring the grit, but the 400 is relatively coarse and the 1000 is finer for finishing. There's a rubbery base to prevent slipping but it's kind of tight and hard to get on the stone and still slips around a but. There's also a smaller levelling stone to lap the main stone. To get started, you soak the stone for about 10 minutes - it will bubble. I then drew a light grid on the surface in pencil and used the levelling stone to even off the surface (it was pretty flat but slightly concave). I also beveled the edges a bit to prevent chipping.I sharpened a 7" chef knife using a blade guide. The 400 grit removed material fairly quickly to take out chips and start an edge. The 1000 grit refined it further. While sharpening I had too add sprinkle some water on the stone regularly (every 30-45 seconds) to keep the stone lubricated and wash away swarth from the blade and eroded stone. The first attempt was successful and gave me a much sharper blade after about 15 minutes. Obviously my technique could improve and skill is up to the user, but the stone definitely worked as I hoped. I'll probably pick up a 6000 grit stone soon to get a really fine edge on blades.

My first whetstone.
My first whetstone, noticed my kitchen knives getting less and less great at cutting and decided to give a whetstone a try. This seemed like a decent one to start with, good stone grades and the rubber piece to stop it sliding around.Instructions with the kit are easy to follow, and it worked great!Sharpened up one of my oldest cheapest knives after about 15-20 mins of getting used to it and pressure/angles consistent. The result was a knife that I could literally shave with!Highly recommend this kit for anyone like me who’s a total newcomer to the sharpening game and wants a cheap entry point but a good product and results.
