They are sending a replacement for the "funny noise" clock, so I'm giving them a provisional 4 Stars - - If the clock stays true for a few weeks, and proves to be as high a quality as their Customer Service, I will raise my rating to 5 Stars.In fact, if the clock is as good as their Customer Service, I'll buy a couple more of them. It *is* a beautiful clock with very clear numerals and a simple, elegant design which goes perfectly in our :"computer" room.____________________________________**Original Review**I don't recall just when I began being bothered by an intermittent, but teeth-clenching, high-pitched whine in my computer work area. I tried turning off all the electronics, one by one without eliminating the noise.Finally, I realized that it was coming from this clock's mechanism. While I was happy that it wasn't one of our computers or printers, it was still disappointing. I really liked this clock. It looked just terrific on the wall, but putting it in the dining room was no better... the whine too obnoxious. I finally had to remove the battery.I've had it almost three months, so I guess it's "no returns," but I'd like a word with the manufacturer. Maybe I will try that. I'd love the clock otherwise.**See Update.

I do not leave the clock outside/outside I take it to pool when I go out. it is on our enclosed deck most of the time. I like the clock I can see it from across the pool however the paper inside with numbers on them is already not looking to good. and it has only been outside a few times as we have had a lot of rain. not sure I will get a whole year out of it. and for themoney and being an outdoor clock should not have a problem.

I love the way this clock looks--it's easy to read even from a distance. I bought it to use by the pool since it's advertised as an outdoor clock, but I don't really think it's meant to be outside. Fortunately the company was very willing to work with me to resolve this issue, and I'm very happy with the result.

EASY TO READ, CORRECT TIME

I love this clock, bought it for the patio, which has a roof, but subject to over 100 degree heat in AZ where I live, so far keeping perfect time, very pleased with the clock

Use it on my front porch - wanted and received a simple clock, no temp gauge, no humidity meter. Has a classic look!

Bought this months ago. It's still (not) ticking along nicely. It keeps good time and is quiet enough that is call it silent.
