After plenty of careful research, as well as around trying out two previous projectors increasing in cost, my journey to find a decent projector that won't get me in trouble with the missus has ended - enter the Wanbo Mozart 1. It's bright enough for use with minor ambient light in the bedroom, but after I got blackout curtains installed was where this unit truly shined. I stuck to the standard picture mode w/c was more than bright enough and connected it to my PS5. Entertainment (movies, casual youtube videos and of course gaming) has been transformative. Its game mode has a very low input lag, so much that I can still remain competitive in twitch shooters such as Call of Duty, and the sound is decent enough with a surprisingly heavy bass. Now on its third month of use I could not see any other competitor to match it on the same price level. Contrast is good enough for dark games (Alan Wake 2, RE2 3 and 4) as well as movies with dark atmospheres (Batman 2022, Interstellar..). Its also got built in android apps for the kids when they watch their favorite videos. And the best part is you get a cinema, a gaming screen at a fraction of the cost of DLP's. If I could give this 10 out of 5 I would. Would recommend it to friends and family as well, considering I've already demoed it to them. Get this model while you still can.

If you're looking for a high quality full HD projector on a budget, this is the best one out there! I would like to mention that I've tried the Wanbo TT as well before buying this projector, and the projector brightness of Wanbo TT wasn't sufficient for me. In a room with some ambient light, the projection looked dull. But with the Mozart 1 (900 ANSI), I don't have that issue, even in rooms with some ambient light from windows (curtains closed) I can enjoy great picture quality and brightness. The projector is Full HD, and the picture quality is beautiful. The apps Netflix and Hotstar work well, but primevideo doesn't work. You can log into the app, but it doesn't stream anything within the primevideo app. I got a firestick along with the projector for other streaming apps. There are two USB ports on the projector so I use one for the firestick power supply and the other usb has my external ssd plugged in at all times. You can connect an external SSD with the projector. I have mine connected to a 500gb ssd filled with movies and shows that I want to watch. And it renders them beautifully! Some audio codecs aren't playable within the default video player app on the projector (I think usually the ones with 5.1 surround sound). But you have Kodi on the app store, and VLC is available as well. These apps can be used to play such files on the projector. If you try to play very heavy files (For example Bluray files with huge file sizes like 5-10gb) through the default video player, the video plays fine but the audio doesn't play here. Even on Kodi or VLC, you'll have trouble getting smooth playback of such heavy files. But you can always use a laptop to play your high quality movies I guess. HDMI connection to a laptop, and XBOX works perfectly. So if you want to stream content from your laptop or use the projector for gaming, it's easy. You just plug and play. I use the projector in my bedroom most of the time and I have placed it to one side of the bed, so the projector is diagonal to the projection wall. Yet it manages to keystone correct automatically and render a straight image. Once it does the automatic keystone correction, you still have the option to move the corners of the frame manually to increase the image size to your liking. The maximum screen size will definitely depend on the distance of the projector from the wall, and the angle of the projector. Also, if you use the projector at an angle to the wall, there will always be one end of the projected screen that's slightly out of focus, you can manually adjust focus and achieve a middle ground if this happens. But this isn't an issue since you don't really notice it. A major feature of this projector that I love the most is its sound quality. It has high quality speakers, and eliminates the need for an external speaker if you're using it for your bedroom or if you would like to carry it with you when you travel. Even at 40% volume, it's pretty loud and the quality of sound is great. The bass is good, and the voice clarity is perfect as well. Overall, it's a great purchase and takes your movie watching experience to the next level. Great picture quality, easy to setup, anyone can use it right out of the box, and whether you intend to use it for a home theatre setup or your bedroom, you can't go wrong with this projector.

This is VFM projector with almost all features an expensive projector has. The only downside is the weight. It is quite heavy for a portable projector. Nonetheless the picture quality is excellent and also the sound output. No external speaker is required as its own speaker setup has an internal subwoofer. It is a 1080P projector and can play 4K content via a 4K Android box like the Mi Box or via Amazon Firetv stick. It is advisable to use an external stick for superb viewing. It also comes with Android OS but the picture quality is quite poor. All in all a good quality product at an almost half the cost of projectors from Benq or Viewsonic having similar features. Wanbo and Wzatco projectors are Chinese brands imported by an Indian company based in Bangalore. So the service support is also provided the company from their Bangalore centre. In case of any hardware issues the projector will be picked up by the company and delivered back during warranty. Once the warranty is over the customer has to arrange for pickup and return of the product. This is one big drawback. The company should have at least one or two service centres in big cities for hassle free support. Or some service contract should be done with some 3rd party service providers like what Benq has.

Writing the review after one year of use. Faced two issues within 6 months. 1. Projection was too much white when started and take some time to go back to normal. 2. Projection always starts with some degree rotation on the right. Even auto setup results the same, so I always have to do manual setup. The worst part is the service, I tired wanbo support mail, wanbo escalation mail, their support number (which is out of service). So I have not been able to get any service so far. Finally reaching out to amazon to see if they can intervene and provide a solution Update the review with conclusion.
