I had previously bought an exact copy of these lights before, but over several years, and without fixing it to the walls, it was damaged by foot traffic.I have now installed the light rope correctly (with some effort) and the effect is stunning. Light levels are very good in a reasonably small area, and although I also have LED spot uplighters and a fairy light string, this rope gives the main light for entertaining with comfortable vision at night to do most things.I would definitely recommend going for the warm white version to get a softer and more welcoming feel in the garden at night.One thing to note is that you will have to buy specific LED rope fixing 'brackets' as this item does not come with them (note to supplier that it would be useful to have a link from where these could be bought). I used silicone and hard plastic versions at a general spacing of 300-400mm along the length so approx 150 brackets would be needed for 50m. I fixed the rope to plastic border retainers, brickwork, concrete and sleepers.I also fixed the rope slightly above the position of a foot or brush so the rope will not get damaged by these when walking or cleaning paths etc.DO NOT TURN THE ROPE ON WHEN COILED. This will burn out the entire string.Very happy with this product, I just wished I had fixed the original one correctly in the first place!

Nice lights with a but. There are 2 buts. Firstly they did not come on a drum as shown in the illustrations. Secondly the connecting wire was pathetically short. At just 16 cm between the rectifier unit and the lights themselves I have had to redesign the location of junction boxes etc

hiccup with first delivery (didn't arrive) - but a second go made it fine - and once here is just what I had hoped for.

Perfect to wrap around a tree on our decking patio in the garden for a nice amount of evening light in the garden. Good quality and durability to fit in place.

DO NOT BUY!!!DO NOT BUY! I bought this before Christmas, received it and could not even use half of the rope of light as a part of it stuck to the rest and the middle part didn’t even light up. I was so unhappy about this I contacted the seller and asked for a refund.

Can’t understand why it’s sold as ‘waterproof’ thus outdoors yet it shipped with a ridiculously short cable / plug length of about 6 inches! Anything that is ‘sold’ as waterproof need a connecting cable of such length that you can isolate the power source from the elements!

Even I could fit these, great quality and give far more light off than you think they're going to, great value.

This product was faulty and supplier wouldn’t accept return.It shows it can be cut and on the advertised it says can be cut.Very poor service, would advise against JSG accessories. Not an honest company
