LG 1.5 Ton 5 Star DUAL Inverter Split AC (Copper, AI Convertible 6-in-1, VIRAAT Mode, Faster Cooling & Energy Saving, 4 Way Swing, HD Filter with Anti-Virus Protection, US-Q19YNZE, White)

I have purchased this product after lot of research. This is my first AC. I'm very happy with this purchase. Cooling is good but it takes around 20 to 30 minutes to cool the room (120 sq.ft). Once the room is cool you don't have to do anything the AI (AC) mode takes care of the rest. Installation was ok but it was not so professional as it was from Jeeves and not from LG. Also there was no safety measures given or taken for the installation guys. They just hang in the 12th floor window outlet without even a rope which is very dangerous. Amazon has to take care of these safety measures for sure. Pros : 1. Energy efficient 2. AI (AC) mode is very good as it's keeps up the temparature and also manages the electricity consumption 3. 6 in 1 covertable option is also fine. But not sure how effective it is. Will again write on this based on my electricity consumption for next 4 months. 4. This has 4 way swing which is very useful. 5. Sound it less Cons: 1. It takes longer time to cool the entire room 2. No lights on the remote, it's very hard to operate during night times if we have elders at home 3. Should clean the filter often which is not a good option 4. Installation should be done with safety measures which is not followed here 5. Demo process did not happen after installation 6. It's actually 1.31 ton AC but sold as 1.5 ton AC that's the reason it's taking longer time to cool 7. Energy consumption in Viraat mode is too much so not advisable But based on my reasearch if I want to get another AC, I will not go for LG as I see there are other better brands such as 1. OGeneral 2. Daikin 3. Hitachi Based on my budget I bought LG with some offers at 37k. Next time will go for OGeneral for sure.

Maine vaccum pump lane ko kaha tha to wo log leke aaye and approx 30 min vaccum kiya. Quality - bulid quality looks great Speed - fan speed is ok when it's on high mode Convertible - convertible features is best for save energy bill. Abhi October end ka time h garmiyon ka pta nahi But installation charges i pay for technician is 5k because mujhe 2m extra copper pipe lag gya par maine 3m brand se aayi copper pipe unhe dekar 5m bina kisi jod ke single pipe le li🙌 bas 2m ka price de kar. Used this for a year and absolutely loved this.

Using Fake gas & copper pipe: The service center (Royal Services Goa) used local copper pipes, several leftover pieces of insulation (instead of one continuous roll), and it seems they filled the AC with fake gas. AC was using full power but not cooling at all, the inside room temperature was higher than outside temperature & they were knowingly reporting wrong gas pressures to LG to cover up. I sent the pictures of the correct gas pressure to LG but the ASM took no action & service center stopped providing service and then closed the complaint. The installation technician also showed me samples of poor-quality copper pipes which he admitted were not from LG but from the local shop. Overcharging & Arm twisting: Service center said official company rates are for showing only. If I wanted officially published rates, the installation will not happen. That is exactly what they did. They kept me waiting for 10 days and then closed the complaint with reason "customer does not want installation" even though the matter was under escalation to with CEO's e-mail address. Excess charges: Extra Copper Pipe with insulation & vinyl tape: Official Rate 850/meter, Service center wanted: 1130 + gst Power chord: Official Rate 60/meter, Service center wanted 180/meter Gas refilling charge on brand new installation: Official rate: Free, its included, Service center wanted: 1500 + GST Even after the matter was raised with the Area Service Manager (ASM), the ASM instead of upholding official rates said its not profitable for the service center & wanted me to directly negotiate unofficial rates with the service center. AC not installed in 10 days: Since I insisted on official installation prices, the service center stopped responding to calls or messages. The matter was escalated to the ASM but nothing changed. Useless customer care: The matter was escalated using the write to CEO link. This turned to be a total waste of time as you only get directed to customer care and get generic responses. They forwarded my complaint to the persons against whom the complaint was made. No one from LG customer care even called to find out whats going on & the harassment only increased. Amazon also escalated the issue at their end but the installation was not done in 10 days. Finally, I gave up and returned the AC. This review is from someone who used to be a loyal LG customer. But now LG is not what it used to be.

Its going to be a year now and my AC has just completed 2 free services. This was my first-ever inverter AC purchase, and boy, what a difference it makes! It’s like trading a noisy old scooter for a silent electric car. The cooling is super quick and efficient, and I’ve already noticed a dip in my electricity bills. Bonus: no need to live in fear of voltage fluctuations—it handles those like a boss. Pros: Cools the room faster than I can find the AC remote under the sofa. Customizable cooling based on your mood, room size, or electricity guilt level. Silent Operator: Doesn’t growl or grunt. Purrs like a well-fed cat. LG Service Team: On-time, polite, and installed it like pros. Full marks there. Cons: No Wi-Fi Control: For a tech geek like me, not having app control stings just a little. Remote Could Use Backlight: Midnight chill adjustments = flashlight hunting. Premium Price: Slightly pricier than some rivals, but you do get what you pay for. Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a reliable, feature-rich, and energy-efficient AC—and you don’t mind paying a tad more for peace of mind and performance.

Here is my feedback on the LG 1.5 Ton 5 Star Dual Inverter Split AC. 1. Product/Device - Product was new and packaging was sturdy. 2. Product Price - Fair market price in comparison to competitors. 3. Cooling Efficiency - The entire room gets cooled within 5 minutes with basic setup (temperature set at 24* C). As it is October, the outside temperature in my area is 26* C. Have to wait until summer to see the performance and other modes (6 in 1, VIRAAT etc.,) 4. Installation - Though the vendor (contractor of LG) was prompt in follow-up and installation, they charged 7400 INR as installation charges which is 1000 INR higher than mentioned by LG while purchasing the installation package (1199 +GST). See the calculation in attached image for more details (green is nominal as advertised; red is overcharged). If you are buying this package, please verify the LG's mentioned charges against the LG's vendor quote to make sure there is no over charge 5. WIFI Connectivity - AC connects only to 2.5 GHZ band against 5G. So you would have to setup 2.5G in your WIFI router if you have not done so. Able to control the device using the LG Thin Q app and monitor the usage. 6. Electricity Consumption - Writing this review with 10 days of usage. Have to wait until a month to see the consumption and corresponding charges. 7. Stabilizer - Though LG's description says stabilizer is not required, I went with a basic stabilizer. Overall happy with the product so far.
