I’ve been really happy with the DJI Flip so far. It’s surprisingly stable in the air and handled 15 mph wind gusts on my first flight better than I expected for a small drone. The camera quality is excellent. Photos and videos come out sharp and smooth, and the stabilization works great. Build quality also feels solid and well made. Nothing about it feels cheap. It’s also very easy to learn and fly, even if you’re new to drones. The app and controls are straightforward, and I was comfortable flying it pretty quickly. Overall it’s a great drone if you want something portable, capable, and beginner friendly.

What a fun little drone! It's super portable and quick to launch, and the camera is actually great on it. I use this for quick shots in a lot of places where it would be more difficult/conspicuous to launch my bigger Air 3S, such as when I'm out disc golfing or hiking... or if I'm just out and about and see an amazing sunset. Works great with an RC 2 controller, but it's also fun to use with just your phone/voice commands too. (Just be aware that it has some limitations in those modes -- e.g. no 4K/60fps, and no control of shutter speed/ISO.) One small gripe is that it only has front obstacle avoidance... so you must be extra careful if flying backwards or sideways, and/or you're in one of the auto-modes that involves flying backwards or sideways. Despite this, I think this would still make a great first drone for someone. IMO this (camera) drone is probably the best bang for the buck right now, if decent video/image quality is important and your budget is limited. (The Neo's camera is just nowhere near as good, and other options cost way more.)

This Drone works great right out of the box. Have had connection and video problems with past drones but this one has worked really well. Video hooks up and records easily. DJI Flip Drone keeps a stable picture even though it is lightweight. Flight time seems about average and takes a big hit when it is windy, but overall it has been an excellent drone.

Because of the truly awful winter we're having I've only flown this once, and indoors at that. But... The app is intuitive and has a ton of functionality, the drone is well built, easy to use and has the best camera of any drone at its price point and the controller feel solid and well made and looks to be easy to use. I'm really psyched about this purchase and can't really for some warm weather to really put it to use!

We are beginners and this is our first drone, but I have to say that it has been a very good choice for us. So far it's been nothing but fun and adventure. The range is much better than I would have expected. We live in a very rural location so there are many things to investigate and discover. We did get it stuck up in a tree once, but fortunately one of us is still capable of climbing trees to retrieve it. The views from high overhead are amazing. If any of our dogs ever go missing this drone will lead the effort to find them. 5 Stars.

Owning the DJI Flip for over 2 months I have tested every feature and I impressed with the quality and design of the Flip.Being my first professional rc drone I was not the biggest expert when flying but with app and plenty of resources and tutorials for this drone I was never disappointed with my purchase. Flying without the remote: Being under 250 Grams I wasn’t expecting a lot of features but with smart video modes like “Boomerang” and “Rocket” this compact drone can be a mini personal photographer (you don’t need someone to control it for you because of it’s AI tracking features). Flying with a remote: When flying with the RCN3 controller this drone is just like any other DJI drone. With its front LiDar ,beginners won’t have to worry about crashing it. Also it’s high quality boasts 48 megapixel photos and 4K video at 60 frames per second in 10 bit color, so no worries on the camera’s quality. Nice drone. Very Easy to use. Fast to deploy.

I chose the DJI Flip because for the price it does most of what you need to have fun. Great camera, great agility and good connectivity to satellites. I like the guarded propellers for beginners so if you do impact it will still fly. Others will destroy the propellers and you'll have to replace. The battery flight time doesn't seem like 31 minutes but for what it is it's definitely enjoyable. I'd reccomend buying two batteries. The controllers works good also. The upgraded controller would be better but for the price it's the best bang for the buck. It came with some extra accessories and all cables needed to fly and connect. It's under 250g of weight so you can fly recreational.
