Natural, Pesticide-Free Solution for Effective Fungus Gnat & Larvae Control

I have always used BTI soluble tablets but the other company I get them from they are always sold out so using this one instead, BTI is the only thing that seems to get rid of fungus gnats. I use every single time I water so it stops them coming back. One person commented they did not have a big enough container, I use a washing up bowl which takes 5 litres when full, throw a tablet in once dissolved I use a jug to scoop out the water, this is enough water for my plants. It works very well.

Used this product for a couple of weeks on my house plants and it’s got rid of most of the gnats!

Not entirely impressed with these. While it definitely reduced the amount of flies around my indoor chillies, it did not get rid of them all, even after using all the packet. So I do not know if it was not strong enough, or I was not covering all the soil, or just not effective. I ended up getting the spray which works better.

This product is an absolute waste of time and money. It's like putting on Chanel No.5 for Fungus Gnats. I used this for 9 days after having tried repotting, drying out, and all the other so called remedies. All this did was produce a lovely wet compost for more hatchlings. I even tried increasing the quantity of tablets per 10 litres, decreasing the quantity of water per tablets - sheer rubbish. I've even had the bugs confirmed by an entomologist to check I am treating the right beasties. I would definitely not recommend anyone buy this product, it's absolute garbage. My poor 20 year old Jade Tree has been put outside.

This is a review of 'Fungus Gnat Control, Natural, Pesticide-Free Solution for Effective Fungus Gnat & Larvae Control'.This is a pack of 20 soluble tablets of bti (a bacteria that kills larvae). It can be used for mosquitos and fungus gnats, and I've also heard it used in the treatment of thrips as the larvae goes into the soil at one stage. I have used this type of BTI product before from a different brand, and they always work very well, but are expensive. This is the most affordable option I've seen so far for bti in the uk. The water soluble tablets dissolve easily in water. Each tablet can be used for 10 litres of water. The only issue I've had with this is that I don't have a 10 litre water container and the tablets aren't easy to break up into pieces, so I end up wasting the product by using it in a much smaller water container. I also tried using one tablet then refilling the water but the tablet dissolved too quickly for this.Overall this is a great product that is effective for using with fungus gnats.

Seems to have worked. Infestation has really come down. I used this in conjunction with a physical barrier to kill adults as it only kills larvae

So far have only done two applications and the pesky gnats seem to have gone. I’m very pleased with this product, it was a bad in infestation on a beloved plant and I was worried I would have to ditch it. Thank you for this product. I would recommend.
