Fast External Storage
Why did you choose this product over others?: Fast speeds and LaCie have always been reliable. Would recommend for any Apple user.

These drives are hand-down awful. They are advertised as working on Windows or Mac which is not true. To work on Windows, you have to download complex software, and even then it doesn't work. Freezes up, is terribly slow. Way, way slower than any USB 4 port should be. I have very high end Dell Precision 7680, on which any drive should work fine and these do now. If you have only a Macbook, they may be okay, not sure. But if you plan to use them at all on Windows, just recognize they will not work, and the company's claim that they will is just false.

He tenido que devolverlo porque se calentaba en exceso y cuando hacía las pruebas en mi Mac de lectura y escritura. En cuanto a la escritura, cumplía con las especificaciones, pero en cuanto a la lectura no llegaba ni a 5000 MB/s

Un LaCie de bonne qualité comme prévu avec cette marque, et surtout avec un Thunderbolt 5 qui reste rare sur le marché. C’est pour ça que je l’ai choisi malgré un prix assez élevé pour un 4 To. Très efficace avec un Mac Studio M4 MAX. Compte tenu du prix exorbitant des extensions mémoire d’Apple, ce SSD externe s'avère un complément indispensable, puissant et performant de mon nouvel ordi. Connexion immédiate sans aucune difficulté.

Velocissimo ma scalda troppo, assurdo ! E’ perennemente incandescente secondo me non durerà molto . Delusione totale !
