7INOVA N300 WiFi Range Extender with Antenna, Supports up to 300Mbps Speed with Antenna, Wireless Signal Booster and Access Point for Home

We have a TP-Link WiFi Extender that's used in the far side of the house. The WiFi Extender often goes in and out and the signal is unstable. Often time, we lose the WiFi signals with the Extender. The TP-Link Extender also uses a different SSID and when we cross the boundary from one WiFi router to another and when both SSIDs are in the range, it is sometimes difficult for the user to choose the preferred SSID (the Extender will default to one, not of the user's choosing). This WiFi Range Extender/repeater uses the same primary SSID and offers a stronger signal than our existing WiFi Extender at a much lower price. We like this one much better and this is a keeper!

I purchased the 7inova for use as a client bridge to provide wifi/internet access to an NVR wireless camera system ( the NVR uses wifi to connect with cameras, but LAN access is via a wired port). Setup was painless.I linked my desktop to the default 7inova SSID connection via a wifi adapter, signing in to the 7inova web interface with the default ID & password. I made the configuration change to "Client Bridge", selecting the desired SSID & providing the passphrase for connection. After a save & exit, I moved the unit over by the NVR, plugged it in at the power strip & connected it to the NVR via the provided LAN patch cord. The NVR immediately connected to the house wifi getting a DHCP issued IP assignment. No problems. (I did later change the NVR to a static IP & update the house router to reflect that assignment)Connection strength has been fine for my application, even without the provision for an external antenna. The compact size & self power is a plus.

I am using AT&T wifi service, but because my mom room located in the other side of our house, so the signal is not stable, and she always complained she cannot use wifi. After studied for a while, I purchased the range extender, and it really works well for me; stronger signal, much cheaper price, and easy to use for clear instructions. The feature I like can be viewed as an Ethernet bridge, and can be used by different laptops, and it's very convenient. Now, full signal throughout my house, everyone can get the reasonable bandwidths to watch youtube and on-demand videos smoothly.

Easy to setup and nice quality. I use Netspot to monitor the signal and it is really stable. They provide Easy and Advance two mode for first time setting, it's really good for my wife to learn how to setup a router/repeater by herself. The speed is about 70% of original Wifi signal, I am satisfied with that, because without the repeater, I can only get 20% speed with original Wifi signal in my room.

Update:The seller was in touch immediately and offered a replacement product on top of the refund I received. Very good customer service!Nothing but problems. Took forever to connect to my network. Had to Google correct instructions. After connecting, would sporadically disconnect or say my password was incorrect. Even when it was functioning, it lowered my signal rather than raising it. A waste of time and money. Returned.

This little WiFi device can be either a range extender or, with the included Ethernet cable, a WiFi-to-wired-device converter.I am using it as a range extra in a stone house that is difficult to blanket with signal. I used the manual setup mode, which is documented but not entirely obvious how to do. It started right up and worked perfectly.Don’t lose the minimal instructions and you’ll have a great bargain in home networking.

Was skeptical at first because of the price of the device, but overall the little thing works very well! She was a bit of a pain to setup at first (gave up the first day) but I tried again the next day and to my surprise I got her up and running. It does exactly what I wanted it to do and for $15 you can’t go wrong. I have my WiFi on the second floor and because of that the range was spotty on the first floor, with this device I now have fast WiFi throughout my house. Would recommend this to anyone looking to boost their WiFi on a budget.

Spent WAY too long trying to get this working. It connects to the router VERY EASILY, but you get a connection with NO INTERNET. Tried for a couple hours and still couldnt fix. Online support nonexistent (China, and by email only). Spend a few dollars extra and get a different one.

Nothing waited 4 weeks and its terrible. Says it’s an easy setup 😡it’s anything but . Followed all the online steps (don’t tell you about this in description)and every time you get to the end and try to connect it crashes . Total waste off money. Would have been as well setting fire to 15 quid 😡😡😡

Crap did not work
