I used to swear I would never place one of these inside my home. I always thought they’re best suited for outdoors. And while they certainly have a purpose for outdoors, I have to say I am so thankful I bought one for inside! So many flies find their way inside our home in the summertime! This device is constantly working and every time you hear it zap, that’s one less fly we had to chase down with a swatter! Our dogs, however, have not grown accustomed to the zapping sound. It always takes them by surprise! It’s not a problem. It’s just funny to watch them jump.🤣 On the plus side, it makes a great night light!

works soooo well. i keep it in the garage because thats where most of the mosquitos come into the house from. when you hear the zap, its so satisfying. i do have to say, my first unit did break after 20 days, but luckily amazon just took it back and i got another one.

We rent an old house and have plenty of plants, so gnats are a fairly common issue. As a result, we typically keep a zapper running somewhere in the house. I was attracted by the idea of the low energy use of the LED's but I wasn't sure how well the LED's would attract bugs. After having it for some months it does clearly work. The LED's do seem to be less effective than traditional bulbs during the day, with very limited effectiveness on flies. Flies seem to ignore it during the day, but I have seen dead flies, so it does attract them. I'll hear occasional zaps during the day (which are seemingly from gnats) but many more at night. Not sure how well it works against mosquitos but I'm fairly certain that mosquitos need different attractors so that's not surprising.

I bought this during Prime Day value sale. Wasn't sure about it, but once I plugged it in and it went to work right away!!!! Mosqitoes no more!!! I liked it so well I bought another one for the other end of our house !!! This is a GREAT BRAND !!! You can "NOT" use this model OUTSIDE !!!!!!! No smell from zapping the bugs either!!! It looks so nice too. So easy to use. You can't go wrong buying this model. You know when the bugs are killed!!! "POP" !!!!!!!!!! Otherwise, it is not heard at all !!!!

As described…works great

I don't do many reviews, but due to the absolute disappointment with this product, I feel compelled to warn potential buyers about this overpriced and worthless product. Over the years, I've owned (and still own) similar products that use UV tubes, which are very effective. Their main drawback is the short lifespan of the tubes. So, I was enticed by the idea of a long-lasting LED alternative and bought this worthless device. Okay, sure, maybe the LEDs will last a decade... so what? If they don't do the job, and they DON'T. I didn't have a need, a fruit fly bloom, until after the return window had passed. That's when I had the opportunity to compare this device with a traditional UV type, and this device failed utterly. The old one did its job; this LED device did almost nothing! I like the concept and think it could work. But, I think the problem is that the LEDS are simply not luminous enough to do the job, or maybe the wavelengths aren't right. In a back-to-back, simultaneous comparison, this just doesn't cut the mustard and is a waste of money. Unless they come up with better LEDs, sadly, the best alternative seems to be accepting the need to replace bulbs.

Trauerfliegen fängt man normalerweise mit Gelbkarten, dieses Jahr sind die Biester aber kaum los zu werden, auch alle Nachbarn kämpfen dagegen. Darum schiessen wir jetzt mit einer Kanone auf Spatzen: Dieses Gerät arbeitet sehr gut, sogar tagsüber gehen die Fliegen drauf. Ich freu mich schon direkt auf die Gelsensaison! Es knistert natürlich entsprechend hörbar, wenn wieder ein Insekt gegrillt wird, aber das tun alle Hochspannungsgeräte, da wird kaum eines leiser sein. Kleines Manko: Die Leichen liegen auch direkt vor dem Gerät, und nicht nur in der vorgesehenen Schublade. Zur Beruhigung aller Tierschützer: Zack! Die zierlichen Mücken erfahren ein schnelles Ableben, und sterben nicht langsam an irgendwelchen Gift- oder Klebefallen. Klare Empfehlung meinerseits!

Der reinste Mückenkiller! Dabei aber sehr einfach zu reinigen. Einfach wie bei einem Toaster unten die Schublade herausziehen und die Leichen entsorgen. Alles was noch am Draht hängt ist mit dem langen Pinsel sehr gut zu entfernen. Ein TOP-Gerät.

Der Insektenvernichter ist bei Dunkelheit sehr effektiv. Ich habe das nun ein paar Mal ausprobiert und selbst die größeren Fliegen gehen hier schnell in die Falle. Sobald jedoch noch etwas Licht vorhanden ist, interessiert das die Fliegen nicht. Aber ich denke, das kann man auch nicht erwarten.
