I read the good and bad reviews of this hose and decided that the good outweighed the bad and went ahead with the purchase. I was wrong, and should have heeded the warnings. I used this to replace my existing hose that was deteriorating from the fuel blends on my outboard motor. Since it's a 2 stroke, I use a fuel/oil mix Normally the fuel in my filter is blue-green, but after a day of use this hose turned my fuel orange-brown. I have had all kids of issues since. That's not the only bad part, this hose turns soft. So soft that not only does it kink very easily but it collapses on itself under good suction. This hose may be good for other uses, but if you are looking at it for outboard motor / boat use, steer clear.

Works great, only 1 minor issue
Works fine, description is accurate. Disregard the reviews where people don't know the difference between OD and ID measurements. The hose fits perfect for standard 3/8 fuels lines INSIDE DIAMETER. Read about what you are buying before giving it a negative review. It reflects more on you than the product.I have to agree with another reviewer regarding some sort of black processing debris that is inside the hose. I read that review, and made sure to install a glass fuel filter near my motor. Sure enough, after about a 10 minute warm up, the glass fuel bowl was full of black rubber slivers and chunks. I would not have wanted that to run through my carb jets and fuel bowl.BUY A GOOD FILTER, and make sure to flush the hose before installing it. Other than that, it's been on my boat several months with no issues at all. If it were not for the debris, I would have given it 5 stars.

GARBAGE
Unlike others I received the correct 3/8 hose BUT this stuff is GARBAGE. I flushed my lines before hooking up my new carb and even with gas just flowing through this line ( NO pressure or sitting in line at all ) this line turned the gas BROWN.. there is no way anyone can tell me that poluting gas with whatever is turning it brown in the line is good for jets or injectors SEE PICTURE. I sent this back , got line from the local parts store and my gas is now crystal clear.I am so glad I thought to flush the line AND use a glass filter to catch anything in there and actually see what was flowing through. I will NEVER use a Thermoid product again

I rarely leave reviews however this hose is the WORST product I’ve ever purchased on Amazon
Guys. I rarely leave reviews however this hose is the WORST product I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. The gasoline/ethanol will eat and break down the hose. Keep in mind most all gasoline has ethanol in it now days. First turning the gas dark brown, then breaking down. Your fuel filter or filters in my case Will Not stop from reaching injectors. This absolute junks cost me $1700 in repairs, tons of time and headache trouble shooting potential non related issues and down time.DO NOT - DO NOT PURCHASE. I am shocked this product has over 70% 5 Stars. Time will tell those folks otherwise.

quality 3/8" ID rubber hose
25ft of 3/8 fuel/oil hose! I agree with another reviewer here, feels like I am rich. Can't believe the autoparts stores sells this by the inch!Nice quality 3/8" ID rubber hose, 5/8" OD, nylon reinforced, proper markings, cuts well with razor knife tubing cutters, spool is about the size of a large coffee can. Hope this info helps!

Absolute Garbage - DO NOT BUY
Replaced a 3" section of gas line coming out of the water separator on my boat last year. This year, I noticed that the hose was "crimped" and soft, and had basically collapsed. When I took the piece off, it crumbled in my hands. Pieces of rubber the size of BBs fell out after separating from the braid.Stay far, far away from this garbage!! Unless you want to send rubber through your engine.

Bad for gas with ethanol in it
Bad for gas with ethanol in it. I bought this hose for my boat and the gas that sat in the hose for just two days pumps out of the hose very dark brown, like Pepsi or Coke from sitting inside the hoas and deteriorating the hose. Cannot be good for any motors. I read other reviewws after I had my problems with the same results, and the gunk from the hos meesed up some carburators too. Do not buy this hose for gas!

The fuel line is very good quality. Almost a good value
The fuel line is very good quality. Almost a good value, MAJOR dislike about this particular item is the fact that when the fuel line was place on the plastic dowel, it was wrapped very tight, SO tight that the last 4 feet of the fuel line is unusable because it is permanently collapsed, unless you are going to use it for a pressurized system. The last 4 feet I could not even blow air through it using my mouth.

Exactly As Advertised - 3/8” ID Fuel Line
Fuel line was delivered as promised and I received what I expected - 3/8” ID hose, (5/8” OD), Made In The USA. This line fit all my 3/8” connections, allowing me to finish building my extended-run fuel connection for my Honda generator.Incase your wondering about hose clamps size to use, I used Stainless Steel clamps, size (7/32” to 5/8”).
