Works
I bought two sets of these TMR sticks for a couple of Xbox Series controllers that I picked up from a charity shop . They both initially tested fine , but I wanted to try doing the replacement as the sticks are the only downside to the stock controllers . I already have a nice soldering station and I'm okay at soldering , but I've had trouble in the past removing components from circuit boards so I figured that I'd better pick up a nice de-soldering station to help overcome that issue . Everything went perfect , this upgrade is totally doable , as everybody else in the comments says - get yourself a de-solder tool or you'll be sorry . I just had to recalibrate the new sticks and retesting shows perfect results . Recommended !

best drop in stick modules on the market for xbox series controllers!
these are IMO the best option out there for those with the xbox series 1914 model controllers. just remove the old stock modules, drop these in and solder them in and quickly calibrate them through the xbox app. They are damn near perfect in their circularity and center deadzone. I've been using these for a little over a month now and have yet to see any deviation from the sticks' center position. Many of the stock ALPS modules from a few of my controllers started getting stick drift within a month or two of regular use playing FPS games. I've been making it a point to be a bit harder on these TMR sticks and they are holding up just fine so it gives me confidence that these will hopefully last much longer than those old ALPS sticks that xbox and playstation insist on using. Do keep in mind though that some soldering experience is highly recommended before trying to do this upgrade. You can easily mess up the board's traces if you're new to soldering and don't have the right tools to do the job right. If you have the tools and skills though I highly recommend these!

Excellent quality
TMR units work really good, no complaints, installation same as all the others.Joystick caps (black ones) are also of good quality, I cannot see the different between the original ones and these. It also comes with the smaller caps in the picture for protecting the main piece, while I'm not a fan of those the quality is still good and it feels and has a good grip.Overall a good option, not the cheapest but it has all you need at the desire quality, if you are just casual and want fix your controllers without breaking your head bout many options, this one is good.Although soldering skills are obviously requiered to get the job done.

BUY ME
I regret not buying a hot air station before I attempted this install. The installation was painless with the proper tools! Huge upgrade from the original sticks on my PS5 Pro (they lasted 6 months exactly). Suspect these will outlive my video game addiction.

What a Difference $3 Makes!
I purchased two versions of the AKNES TMR joystick replacements—one branded with "GuliKit" and one without. Both are made by AKNES. I first installed the unbranded set, but one of the joysticks turned out to be defective. This suggests there might be some quality control issues with the unbranded version. That said, customer service was great—they promptly sent me a replacement with no hassle, which I really appreciate. In terms of performance, the unbranded version isn’t bad. However, when compared to the "GuliKit" version, there's a noticeable difference in error rate and circularity. For just $3 more, the GuliKit-branded kit is well worth the extra cost.

Fed up with stick drift - good purchase if you can handle the install.
I've been replacing my controllers every time stick drift starts, but this last one happened after 4 months and i was sick of it. only about 3 days in but i can feel the extra level of precision and responsiveness with the new technology. These sticks works great, install is tough, definitely need de-solder tool and some flux paste. only reason i went with 4 stars is the stick test online shows some decent variation in outside limit. No affect to gameplay, but could be better. i had to do about 6 calibrations in the Xbox app to get it to this accurate.

Best Replacement Part
This joystick is a good replacement; it feels just like the OEM. It arrived well protected, which is a huge plus. I can say this because of the small pins on the joystick. It was the best purchase I've ever made. The repair was super easy. I should also say I have soldering skills. Not professional, but it's something. If you're good at following instructions, there are good videos on YouTube for disassembling the controller and for soldering as well.

Hot or miss with batch quality
Replaced the stick and calibrated it to center and then it just started becoming jittery where it would read an input that I moving analog stick right when I’m not. I hate soldering and desoldering as it takes me 5 hours to make it line up! Just for the stick to be defective. Just hope that you don’t get a bad batch after paying 20$
