My opinion this is a great seasoning. We generally use a lot of different Dano's seasonings because we both need to limit our salt intake but we don't particularly want to give up flavor. This has a great flavor and although it has the typical low salt amount of the typical Danos seasoning it seems to have a nice spicy salt forward taste to me. Seasoning gurus know that it is possible to achieve this with the right combination of spices. (And the freshness and quality of those spices). This is what I expect from a good Adobo. It didnt disappoint even without the sodium content. If you are not familiar with Dano's, all of their spices are low salt. Typically only 1/4th the amount of salt in most seasonings. As you know the FDA determines ingredients listed on food products are listed in order from the highest amount to lowest amount. If you pick up any other seasoning in the supermarket and look at the ingredient list, almost all of them will list the first ingredient as salt. That simply says that the bottle in your hand, whatever it may be is mostly pure salt. Dano's is mostly and the first ingredient listed is......herbs and spices. They typically use sea salt in all their seasonings and the amount is usually around 50mg per serving. Hope this helps

I love Dan O’s and I put it on everything. The new Cajun one is fantastic. This new Italian seasoning is good but not great. Basically it’s just a twist on a typical Italian seasoning that you can get anywhere. 90% of it is the usual herbs like oregano, basil, garlic etc with a little bit of salt and some others to give it a twist. It’s still very good but definitely more of a spice to give to dishes than a seasoning to put on anything for a good flavor. Added to pizza or a pasta dish it’s great. But if you add it to Italian combo sandwich, it gets lost in the mix.

Great on popcorn or pizza! Definitely has a kick! Very tasty!
