Built very well I use it all the time at work.

Greatest carpenters pencil I have bought to date. Sharpener can’t get lost and is on top of the holder so 2 hands not needed for sharpening. Very durable. Single color which is fine my favorite pencil yet grab one easy to use pencil pops out of the bottom of the holder if you want it to.

Great product I had a pencil before this that was made of plastic and when it broke i decided to get a good one and this one has met all my expectations i highly recommend to anyone that is a carpenter to get this pencil.

Lead didn’t come out of the pencil. Ended up buying a $10 mechanical pencil and it actually functions. And this was a replacement of one they delivered to wrong address. Terrible experience trying to get this pencil only for it to not function properly.

The sharpener is 100 times better than the original one. Much better than the first plastic model!

After using the ox pencils for the past two years and now finding this one. These are by far the best job site pencils around.

So for $32 I would expect a higher quality product. To start off with the pencil has almost zero retention in the holster, it can easily fall out if you snag it or lay down to work. But also the cap that goes on the pencil somehow fell off the first day I used it and became lost. Maybe it happened when I was crawling through an attic idk. Anyways I reached out to tracer on their website about getting a replacement cap and it’s been about a week with no response. I also reached out on their Instagram and still haven’t had a response. So anyways I decided to fix it myself. I used some shrink tubing over the refill tube to expand the diameter and increase friction of whatever it was I would use to cap it. Then I went through about 20 different pens while disassembling all of them to find a cap off one that would work. Eventually I found one and in the color of chrome so it looks nice. I wouldn’t have normally went through all of that for a pencil but at $32 I felt like I needed to fix it rather then suffer my loss

Works great the holster is a little tight it’s hard to remove pencil from it but overall a great pencil

Regardless of other bad reviews, I myself could not complain about this product in the slightest. I am a 1st & 2nd fix carpenter and have used this product for both areas of carpentry, although I would say it is superior in the 1st fix areas due to the width of the leads. The weight of the pencil is ergonomically pleasing, making it suitable for tough rigid environments like on site. I have dropped it from scaffold multiple times and it has not broken unlike other reviews have suggested. Ofcourse it has scratched, it's an aluminium pencil, but it is as solid as when bought. The sharpener on it is perfect, similar to a PicaPencil quality. Lead storage box is spot on, bit big to keep in the tool pouch but these leads last a long time so no need to do that. It is a bit pricey....but quality never comes cheap. Buy it and make all the lads on site jealous. 10/10

This deep hole construction pencil is very well designed and ideal for site work. The included replacement leads are a nice bonus and the pencil performs reliably in daily use. It’s comfortable to hold and gives precise markings on a variety of surfaces. Overall, an excellent quality construction pencil that’s well suited to professional use.
