Great product
Well built, heated evenly. This was an upgrade from my old cooktop, and it’s been a great move. The difference showed right away. Heat control is super easy and accurate. Set it once and it stays right there. No jumping around, maintaining the temperature very well. I did notice the on-and-off cycling at first and thought it was unusual, but after checking with customer service, they explained it’s intentional in TEMP mode to prevent overheating and burning. After using it more, it actually makes sense and helps keep cooking more controlled. Very handy, intuitive response, and it runs quietly without being a distraction. The stainless steel build feels solid, performs exactly as advertised and definitely worth the extra cost.

Almost daily use over 8 months, still like new
this Pro induction cooktop with larger cooking coil brings pans and liquids up to temperature in no time as expected. It really cuts down on waiting when I’m boiling a large pot of water or preheating a pan for frying. Temperature adjustments are very precise, which makes it easy to keep a gentle simmer going or hold sauces right where I want them. The stainless steel housing feels sturdy and wipes clean with little effort. It also has a polished, professional look that makes it stand out compared to plastic portable burners. Also, the fan runs quietly in the background, just a low hum that never gets in the way of conversation. The extended timer has been a big help for slow-cooked meals, letting me leave a pot of stew on for hours. It’s easy to carry when I need it for an event, but still strong enough to handle daily cooking in the kitchen. For the price, this “Pro”cooktop delivers more than expected. I will buy one more as a housewarming gift for my friend.

Excellent induction cooking!
I was chose this induction cooktop because of its reviews. I preferred the membrane switches and digital display as it provided a smooth look and ease of clean up. The footprint of the cooktop fit perfect for my use, as I plan to use it at home and in my soup shop business, and did not want a large bulky appliance. Out of the box, the cooktop is ready to perform, and using the included magnet to check your cook pots are induction compatible. Eliminated any user error experiences from happening. I like the ease of selecting any function from timer mode to full boil setting with no delay. I was impressed with how fast the cooktop could get a pot of water boiling in under 5 minutes. This ability would work nicely with making sauces/gravy. Another feature I appreciate is the efficient heat/energy is transferred to the pot there is no heat loss whatsoever. The protection circuit is always active, when I remove the pot from the cooktop, the appliance with switch power off and give a short audible chime. Also the cooling fan in base of the unit is precisely controlled in keeping the cooktop safely cool. The only fault I could find, is the cooling fan bearing creating a low humming sound probably from its bearing spinning at high RPM. Overall I highly recommend this appliance for home or business use. Excellent quality, and design.

Sturdy reliable consistent cooker that works for boiling all day
These were exactly as advertised and as I hoped they would be. Yes, the temperature read out is not accurate to the temperature of the liquid in the pot, but the instructions tell you why that is. I used a simple thermometer to measure the boil point and it was consistently between 210 and 220 degrees on the dial, with a unit temperature read out of 260 degrees. I wish the temperature could be adjusted in 5 degree increments but the unit works, is well built, and boils quickly. I like that the cooking surface is large too. I used these with a 5 gallon stock pots to evaporate maple sap and the unit kept temperature all day long without effort, and the power cord never became hot. They are surprisingly light weight which makes them easy to move.

Sleek and great little unit
Very happy with my purchase, and it looks very sleek in my kitchen. I put it right on top of my glass top stove, and I leave it out all the time. I absolutely love the rectangle shape of this, way better than the round ones that I have had in the past! I also love the fact that it is not too tall. It really helps to not have a unit that looks clunky like the round ones do. I have been used to induction cooking in the past and so I’m very familiar with how to cook with it. I knew that the temperature adjustment was in 20° increments when I bought it, but I have found with some items it’s difficult to keep it exactly where I want to have something simmer slowly. But that is not the fault of the unit. I just wish that it had 5° or 10° increments. But it functions really well, and it is very quiet. Super happy about that! Easy to use the button controls, and the pan heats up immediately so for those that are not used to induction that may be a learning curve for them. Overall, very happy with my purchase other than the fact of the 20° increment heat control.

After years of use, still stay in high power
I bought my first changbert induction cooktop about five years ago, and it’s been rock solid ever since. It’s handled daily cooking without a single issue, so when I needed an additional burner for a second prep area, choosing the same brand was an easy call. This newer unit feels just as well built. The stainless-steel housing holds up great to heat and it looks clean and professional. The full 1800W output feels genuinely powerful for everyday cooking, I can bring a pot of oil up to frying temperature without waiting forever, and it recovers well between batches for things like fried chicken or tempura. It doesn’t struggle to maintain heat once it’s dialed in, which makes a big difference when frying at home. Even with heavier pots, it never feels underpowered. The temperature and watt are very precise, once I set it, it stays there, whether I’m simmering a sauce or holding a steady heat for longer cooks. The stainless-steel body wipes down in seconds, and even after years of use it still looks almost new with a quick wipe, really easy to clean. When I’m not using it, I can just slide it into a cabinet without any hassle, because of this cooktop, I’ve actually grown to prefer stainless-steel appliances in general, great value of money.

Better than my old cooktops.
I’ve used a few induction cooktops before—my last one actually lasted over three years before it gave out. So I figured I’d try something new. Saw this one with pretty good reviews and thought, why not. It’s been about four months now. What I like is how it works with all kinds of cookware. My big 12-inch pan? No problem. And even my little gooseneck kettle heats up fast—honestly, a bit too fast sometimes. Gotta keep an eye on it or I’ll overshoot the coffee temp. Funny thing is, that same kettle didn’t even work on my old cooktop, surprised to find that this small thing is just keeping powerful. I’ve used induction cooktop for years caused , and I’ve noticed some pots make noise—usually the lighter ones, or just old pans that don’t sit right. We’ve slowly replaced ours with better stainless steel and cast iron over time. With those, the fan noise is way less annoying than my old ones. Also, I like that it’s sleek and portable. Works just like a professional induction cooktop but easy to place anywhere! And the slanted control panel? Good design. Even with a big pot, I can still see the buttons and adjust stuff without reaching under a hot pan. Feels a lot safer. Simple to use, heats fast. I didn’t notice much difference compared to my old one when making a small bowl of soup—but when I cooked a big pot, this one definitely brought it to a boil faster. No complains.

Perfect for sous vide cooking, great heat control
I’ve been using this ChangBERT cooktop for a few weeks now, it heats up quickly, and have tried it with several different types of cookware. It quickly became clear that the kind of pot you use makes a big difference, once I switched to a cast iron pot for sous vide cooking, the temperature precision was spot on. I’ve cooked chicken breasts, pork chops, and salmon fillets this way, and the heat stayed steady for hours, giving everything that perfectly tender. When making soups or sauces that need gentle, long-lasting heating, it stays consistent without overburned. The first time I used TEMP mode, I noticed the heat cycling on and off. I contacted customer service, and they replied almost immediately, explaining it’s designed to do that to maintain precise temperature without overheating. After that, it all made sense, and its funs are running really quiet, I barely notice it. For sous vide, simmering or any recipe that needs accurate temperature control, this induction cooktop delivers excellent performance and great value for the money.

Broad coil, quiet, great controls. Best countertop model I've owned.
I've been putting this induction cooktop thru its paces over the past few weeks. And it's almost perfect. It has a much broader coil than my 3 other induction cooktops, meaning that I can cook beautifully formed 10" pancakes on a 12" pan with no errors (my other 3 cooktops respond to a too-large pan with an "overheating" error). The heating is dynamic: Watching the bottom of a 10" pot shows a tight central heat in the first 30 seconds of heating (3" broad) to an at least 7" heat ring within 2 minutes. Making a white sauce in this same 10" pot, I have boiling right to the edges of the pan (at about 8 minutes). So it's easily the best broad, even heat. Plus it's VERY quiet. I can talk or listen to music uninterrupted by fan noise. Not like my other cooktops. Finally, the controls are excellent and intuitive. There is one small problem with this stove: its lowest heat is 200W, which is too much heat for some of my cooking routines (especially those that require simmering of a covered pot). For example, in pressure-cooking some dried chick peas today for 45 minutes, i had to turn the stove off for 10 minutes in the middle of this time, to allow the pressure to lower. For this stove to be perfect, it needs a 100W setting, too. But overall, this is easily the best countertop induction cooktop I've ever owned, or used. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Note added after even more use: the need for a lower temperature setting is easily resolved by switching from reporting W to reporting degrees. Once this has happened, I can turn the temperature way, way down (to 60C). A good simmer (for me) is 110C or 120C. So my one misgiving was already overcome. You just need to switch to temperature to get really low temperatures. The unit's perfect!!!!

fast cooking with large heating area
Cooking has been a lot more enjoyable since I picked up this induction cooktop. The controls are straightforward, clear buttons with a good click, no complicated menus or touch panels that miss your tap. The display is bright and easy to read, even from across the counter, which makes cooking feel effortless. This cooktop works remarkably well. In HEAT mode, it heats fast, I can boil a full pot of water for soup in just in seconds or preheat a skillet for stir-frying almost instantly. The response time is immediate, you turn it up, and it gets hot right away. Also, the heating area is wide and truly uses its full 8-inch coil, as advertised, giving me even heat across my big pans. I also like that it gets up to temperature stays precise, I’ve used it to sear salmon, cook eggs, and simmer sauces, and every time, the heat stays perfectly consistent, all while running surprisingly quiet, just a soft fan sound in the background, nothing distracting. It’s been a great little burner to cook on every day, and absolutely worth what I paid for it. Scott from Toronto,Ontario

Great Performance, well built
I need a cooktop for a family party, and I don't want to deal with smoke or grease buildup from a temporary gas setup, especially since kids will be around the table. I tried using my metal pan, but it barely heated. I reached out to customer service to ask about it, and they replied almost immediately, explaining that induction requires magnetic metal cookware. I switched to a cast-iron skillet, and it works perfectly - fast heating, even temperature, and the food cooks well. Love the two cooking modes, HEAT mode gets heating fast, great boiling, while TEMP mode keeps a steady simmer, sauces without boiling over. Switching between them only takes a tap, simple to use. It can fit my 7-quart stewing pot and 12-inch stir pan. It is impressively fast and totally worth the price.
