I only wish I could source more colors from this seller! As a serious, professional seamstress working on a small scale, I didn’t want a few yards each of 100 different colors! This is 40 yds, enough to bind quite a few seams on the lingerie & swimwear I intend to use it for. I also didn’t want to pay $1-2/yd (!) as I have seen smaller yardages listed for. Sometimes it is hard to find a decent price unless you need 100 yds. The price is about 32 cents/ yd, which is on the low end of what I used to pay for lingerie elastic at the Mill End Store in Portland, OR years ago. It came professionally packaged on a sturdy plastic spool, wrapped in plastic. The end was tucked under, not taped, which I prefer. I ordered the Royal Blue, it is a slightly purple blue, but it looks like the picture. (Note: I used an Ott-Lite for my pics, hoping to capture the true color as much as possible, but my eye still reads a hint of purple in person. It’s a deep, rich blue - a very saturated color - I love it. I took pics of it under a C-thru ruler, both folded, & unfolded, to show it is true to the specs listed in the description.) This elastic has a nice soft hand, feels smooth against the skin. I am latex sensitive, and I have never had problems working w/ or wearing garments w/ this type of elastic. This was my first order from JESEP, now that I know the quality is good I’m ordering the grey & hoping they get more colors in stock soon!
