my tub has the old faucet also will this convert easy

As stated by other buyers here, the faucet comes with the kit, so as long as your faucet has the standard old 3 3/8 spacing, you will be OK. However, be aware that, depending on the age of the old faucet and the location of the tub, the removal will likely be a bear, and the tub may have to be dragged out at an angle to get good access to the old, rusty mounting nuts. Recommended that you get a plumber, because while you're in there, you should definitely replace the old supply lines and shutoff valves. Also, look for new 90 degree supply adapters. Finally, be aware that building codes in most areas require an "anti-siphon" faucet for clawfoot applications (faucet mouth is inside the tub)--the unit sold with the kit may not be compliant, but unless you're doing a permit on this change, you don't really need to worry too much.

I'm trying to find the support flanges for the wall. Mine has held up forever, but I hung a caddy on it, and it ripped out the wall flange.

Find a plumbing supply store in your town, the type that plumbers go in and sit at the counter and everything is back in the warehouse. They sell Pasco brand parts, which cover just about everything you need. Don't be intimidated; they are usually very gentle with people who know nothing about plumbing. Bring your old stuff in, throw yourself at their mercy, and you will probably get out of there with just what you need for less than $25.
