ABUS tensioning straps LH adapter - for attaching frame locks to the bike - black

Wanted to fit a frame lock as an added level of security. My frame didn't have holes to accommodate the lock so these were the perfect solution. Slightly fiddly to line up but managed it on my own would be easier if someone can assist. Very secure and quite strong when you are trying to trim. Highly recommended as an extra level of security to be used in addition to a strong lock

Brilliant - makes fitting the Abus bicycle lock easy. Worth the extra expense.

Used these to fit my bike lock to the frame as had no fixtures on the cycle frame.

Previously I have always used cable ties (zip ties)to attach wheel locks to bike. Having just bought a new electric bike I thought I would buy the proper mounts. They are easy to fit and holds lock solidly. Tips... spend time measuring and checking....the hardest part is trimming down the metal bands (they are plastic coated), so fit everything, check the lock works, then take it off. You can then get full access to the band's to cut them flush, and actually a scissors works best.

A good all round product, however a bit fiddly to fit, but does the job!

They look simple to install, but even if you follow the included guide, these straps do not stay in place as expected. Adding the lock stops them from moving, so I guess adding it completes the installation. They are OK.

Take your time, think it through. It's fiddley to get the mount placement correct and placed in a way that centers your frame-lock on the frame in a satisfying way. I wound up eyeballing everything carefully and marking on the frame (with painters tape) before attaching the mounts. Have some one with general tinkering skills help you or at least maybe have a 3rd and fourth hand available. It may be more awkward, but these are metal straps, so also think hard about where you want the tails to point. I set up mine so they are between the frame and wheel, but it was more difficult to accomplish. That said, if you are careful to pull out any slack and really crank them down (on a metal frame), I have found them to provide a very secure mounting point with no rattling so i believe it is quite commuter friendly. Though I ride mostly road, the bike is a gravel-like commuters e-bike that I sometimes ride through alleys and there is no rattle then either. Still... not sure how these would work on full time gravel or with daily urban assault efforts over the long term.

Have this for the large coffee lock - my tyres are too fat but will keep these items for another bike.

A simple solution to attaching the abus frame lock to a frame without rear lugs. Easily installed in 15 minutes or less and worked perfectly.
