Excellent grinder for everyday coffee and espresso
I’ve been using this AMZCHEF coffee grinder daily, and it has exceeded my expectations. The 48 grind settings give you incredible control, whether you’re making espresso, drip coffee, pour-over, or French press. The grind consistency is excellent, and it really improves the flavor of freshly brewed coffee. One of my favorite features is how quiet it is compared to other grinders I’ve owned. The anti-static design also makes a big difference—there’s very little mess, even when grinding fine for espresso. The LED touch panel is clear and easy to use, making adjustments quick and intuitive. The build quality feels solid and premium, and the sleek silver design looks great on the counter. It’s also easy to clean and simple to maintain, which is important for daily use. Overall, this is a reliable, well-designed grinder that delivers consistent results with minimal effort. A great choice for home baristas who want quality, versatility, and a clean grinding experience. Highly recommended!

The AMZCHEF coffee grinder is an excellent choice for any home barista out there. This grinder offers 48 precise grinding settings, allowing you to adjust from coarse to fine depending on your brewing method. There is also a LED control panel which makes it easy to operate and it also has an anti-static design. This feature helps with the mess that usually comes with grinding finer coffee grounds for espresso. The overall aesthetic is very sleek and sophisticated. The grinder is sturdy and built well which enhances the experience when it comes to your daily coffee routine. Overall, it’s a reliable and user-friendly grinder that delivers excellent and consistent results. It is important to have fresh grounded coffee beans to yield delicious tasting coffee. High quality grinder with poor user interface (but useable)
I’ve been using this grinder for a few months now, and I’m genuinely impressed with its performance for the price. Many grinders in this range struggle with retention, clogging, and inconsistent grind size, but this one performs surprisingly well. What I like: * Very low grind retention compared to competitors * Consistent, precise, and even grinds * Attractive design that looks great on the counter * Good capacity for daily home use * Versatile enough for espresso and drip coffee * Surprisingly quiet operation * Easy to clean Overall, the grind quality and noise level exceeded my expectations for a budget grinder. Main downside: The user interface. My biggest complaint is the control interface. The hardware is excellent, but the UI needs refinement. Some interactions feel unintuitive and make daily use more cumbersome than it should be. If the UI and workflow were improved, this could easily be one of the best budget grinders on the market. The core grinding performance is already there. Clear and consistent cup/time mode controls: In cup mode, after a short pause the +/- buttons appear but switch the grinder back to time mode instead of adjusting cups. The cup button is then used to change cups, which mixes mode switching and value adjustment and makes the interface feel inconsistent and confusing. The fix: The cup button should toggle directly between cup mode and time mode, and the +/- buttons should always adjust the active mode’s value (cups in cup mode, time in time mode). Persistent mode visibility: Mode icons disappear after a selection is made, which hides available options and forces the user to remember how to get back to other modes, reducing discoverability and making mode switching confusing. The fix: Keep all primary mode buttons (cup/time toggle, 1‑shot, 2‑shot, and grind) visible at all times so switching modes is simple and discoverable. Memory of last settings: The grinder always resets to 20 seconds / 2 cups. The fix: Remember the last used settings so I can simply press grind without reconfiguring every time. Adjustable time per cup: There is no way to adjust grind time per cup. The fix: Allow users to customize grind time per cup to dial in strength and dose. Cup increment granularity: Cup adjustments increase by 2, limiting precision and feeling arbitrary. The fix: Allow cup adjustments in increments of 1. Espresso preset memory: Single and double shot modes exist, but they always revert to default times instead of saving my customized settings. The fix: Each espresso preset should remember the last time set for it. Millisecond granularity and efficient adjustment: Fine time control is limited to espresso mode, and changing large time ranges is cumbersome without clear long‑press / short‑press behavior. The fix: Make millisecond‑level time control available in regular time mode. A short press of +/- should adjust time by 1 millisecond, and a long press should adjust time by 1 second.

Perfect size and great grinding ability!
WOW!!!!!! Super surprised. This is a super little grinder. I'm pretty spoiled as I owned my own espresso bar back in the 90's. So I'm pretty fussy. This grinder is really great. It does not grind all the way to the finest grind - but it does grind well for an espresso machine. Good fine grind, comes out will into the group head. I'm super happy with this. Slight learning curve getting the grind right - but once done - you won't be disappointed!

Grind quality
Grinder gives you so many setting options. Love how fine it will grind the beans. Also not as noisy as many grinders

Easy to use. The grind setting numbers don't match my Breville Espresso Machine.
I purchased this because I prefer espresso and my husband likes milder coffee. We tried two different hoppers for the Breville but changing them out daily was a hassle. This is a compact, easy to use machine. I first set the grind settings for espresso but the coffee was too fine and our Brevelle machine couldn't push the water through. I went from setting 12 Espresso, to 23 drip in order to get the grinds coarse enough (16 on the Breville) to let the water push through. The portafilter holder works but for a double you have to pause the grind and tamp it down 7/8ths of the way, then resume for a full cup. I have to put our portafilter in sideways. The container works nicely but then you have to pour and tamp into the portafilter. Either way, a double cup takes extra fiddling due to needing to tamp down the grounds. The labeling on the machine makes it easy to use and it's a nice looking, also. The hopper holds a lot of beans and unlike the shallow (due to height) Breville hopper, the beans don't bounce out when filling.

Good for espresso.
