Arrived in a timely manner. Well protected in shipping. The skew was sharp and protected by a dipped coating. Cut the coating off, a couple of licks with a fine diamond hone, and it was peeling wood off of the work beautifully. Well balanced and perfect length.

The cutting portion of the skew had a big ding in it. Definitely looked like it was dropped on concrete or something. It's going to take me quite a while to re-sharpen it.

Needed only light honing before use. Good tool

I have bought Robert Sorby chisels before. They never disappoint and this one was no exception. Works great right out of the package.

Just a novice but it's a great skew for the price. The test is how well it holds it edge. So far it great.
