Cricut Cuttlebug - Embossing Folder - 6" x 9" All in One

I didn't buy this to use with any Cricut or similar crafting, just as a more-portable-than-A3 light box for illustration and graphic design. It is very evenly lit and bright enough (though not so bright as my Artograph light box) but I can't comment on its performance for anything else. It is very well built, nicely designed with high quality tactile buttons ideally positioned for left hand use - enabling me to toggle the light on and off with my left hand whilst drawing with my right hand. So many light boxes (including Artograph ones) get this wrong and put the switch on the right hand side. It also remembers your last brightness setting when you do toggle on and off - so is intelligently designed.

cricut make good products i was disappointed that this was £80 on amazon and only £55 at hobbycraft

Firstly the description implies you get the weeding kit, you don’t. But also it didn’t come with the plug either it is missing fro the box. So returning it.

Im very happy with this product. The light quality is great and there are different intensities. The look and feel of the light box is really nice. It came from America and I had to pay a little extra tax, it would have been nice to know that before hand. But all in all I’m very happy.

It makes my life easier when copying onto good paper the design. I used tracing paper for ages an the Cricut is terrific, very light weight, easy to move around an provides just the right amount a light required for type of paper. I use washi tape to hold my smaller pieces of paper in place an no issues getting if off. Best investment I've made an I recommended to a friend who purchased one.

What's important to know is that it's not mandatory that you have a bright pad but it does help especially for me don't go off of what other's say to much it all about what you feel you need and for me it does help with weeding. I love the size along with the weight of the bright pad helps to see the lines for weeding and its just a cool item to have along with the rest of the cricut family. Yes this bright pad is very full of "light"💡lol (very bright) you can change the brightness to fit your needs a plus in that area for me but overall the bright pad is useful in plenty of ways it's really up to you in what use you need for it and I truly needed it for my weeding and yes I do wear glasses as of 2019 and this product help me a lot.
