Firstly, this is our second set of these after being gifted the first, and I got it at almost 40% off. I’m not sure I would have bought a second at full price. Pros: - the kids love these. My 3 and 5 year old both argue over who gets to play with them. - they are easy to play with, far less likely to fall apart than magnetic tiles so less frustration. - they are small (also a con) which makes storage easy, they come with a drawstring bag for easy tidying away - really good for open ended imaginative play. Cons: - you get 48 blocks per box, this is ok but limited to what you can make hence buying a second box - they are small, useful for storage but can’t really interact that well with other toys of your kids are making a ‘world’ - it’s expensive, especially if you’re getting more than one. Overall I think it’s a great imaginative and low frustration toy for young kids, but keep an eye out for deals, and be aware you may end up wanting more than one!

My 9 year old loves these blocks which is the most important part but they are quite small and to make what is on the pictures or a large piece you'll need to buy multiple sets to achieve this. Quite expensive when it adds up as they're not cheap. But overall he loves them

I bought these as a birthday gift for my son who loves building and minecraft. It is a lovely little set and he enjoys building with them. They are easy to build with although the magnets are not very strong so they can fall apart very easily, my son has fun with them non the less.

This item is very misleading! I saw the photos and thought wow my son could build himself a little minecraft like world, the parcel arrived and the box wasn’t that big but when opened the bricks where smallish i thought it would still build what was displayed in photos or on the box, my son was so excited to get this for his birthday and went to work right away to try and make what was on the box, there is no where near enough pieces! You would need to purchase at least 3-4 boxes to be able to build what is displayed! And for £32 a go i refuse to do it! So disappointed and so is my son! NOTE TO SELLER: please change your photos or at least state how many kits where used to build what is displayed instead of misleading people!

This item came in a box the size of a small box of Cadbury’s chocolates. I haven’t looked at the contents, as it’s a gift, but the bricks must be tiny. I’m going to return it, not worth the money.

I read the reviews before purchase so was aware you needed more than one set to build larger displays. I purchased one set and my son loves them. I personally don't feel he needs more bricks. He happily plays and builds with the single set, alternating between using them for small world play and for number blocks. I sometimes think the less is more approach is better when it comes to play. The quality is amazing, they are a great size also. I have bought some plain coloured ones for Christmas now

Although each block set doesn't seem much as you get them, adding more and more sets over time offers so much play option! (one set really is not enough for decent play) For each birthday and Christmas I add to them. This is the 5th set my son has, each with a different theme, and even I like playing with them. The images are printed onto the blocks instead of just being stickers. The magnets are easy enough for a small child to pull apart but hardy enough to stick. I can see these lasting forever! I'm sure they can be passed down from child to child as they are that well made. They are pricey but offer hours of imagination and if you consider the cost of video games and the fact that these offer real life play, I think it's worth it. As new sets are added I will continue to get them. VERY HAPPY!

We got these for my child that enjoys minecraft and he really liked them, the rest of my children age 3-9 also found them interesting and found so many ways to build and play with these. The magnets are excellent, the images and brightly coloured and definitely mimic minecraft. They are a touch expensive but were worth it for the hours of entertainment for my children. It should also be noted that the size of these blocks are nicer than some of the other brands available where their blocks are half the size

The magnets in the cubes are very weak.
