I have been using this JPT 18V brushless cordless drill for a few days for household DIY work. The build quality feels solid and the grip is comfortable. Strong brushless motor with good torque gives smooth power delivery and it handles wood and metal drilling easily. Torque settings help with controlled screw driving, and the metal chuck holds bits firmly. Battery backup is good, and having a spare battery is useful. It feels slightly heavy during long use, but overall performance and durability are impressive. Happy with the purchase and worth the price.

Good performance and decent battery life. Easy to handle and lightweight. Works well for home repairs and small projects. Charging time is reasonable. Worth buying at this price.

2/5 Cracked box, returned. Also can't drill in stone. I tried the drill on wood and it worked ok, on a wall and it worked fine but it just couldn't penetrate a stone tried even with the impact mode but it was sweating. Edited Sept 24th 2024- Got the replacement from amazon 2 days ago, this time the box is intact but the chuck is wobbly which is an even bigger problem. I just didn't want to return it this time and contacted the customer support number which is given in the product listing pictures on Amazon to see how they would deal with these kinda issues. I texted them twice but got no reply just a pre-set message that someone will be in touch. I would like to add here that I have been living out of India and I have used cordless impact drivers wihle away and companies like Makita and Ridgid make really quality products. These kinds of issues which are an everyday occurrences here in Bharat are taken seriously in foreign lands. This kinda wobbly chuck should not have cleard the Quality testing (if there was one!), and I must mention that even those companies mfg. in China, so to brush away the matter saying that it is a cheap Chinese product would not do justice, this is a bigger problem. People of Bharat do not know their worth as customers and they think that since the item is not as expensive like in other countries they can let it go which is simply not true. If ppl start complaining about it these companies will listen. I am definitely returning this but all I want is ppl take time to review items, at least in brief if not like me. It is common to sell customer retuned/open box items and products with minor issues to be sold as NEW. This is unethical practice but it is widely the norm here in Bharat. Jago Grahak Jago! Jai Hind!
