Tide Clean & Gentle Powder Detergent-THE BOMB
Tide Clean & Gentle Powder Laundry Detergent is the bomb!!!! Lasts forever/cleans/whitens like no other & unscented. My clothes/towels/blankets are 100% fragrance free & safe to breath. Be sure to use very little washing darks as they'll dry blotchy/uneven if the soap isn't rinsed out. Thank you Tide for bringing this product back.

So glad it’s back!
I prefer powder detergents a million times over, and unscented for the most part. So many free & clear laundry detergents are so weak, Tide is the best. If you are super scent sensitive, this does have a very very slight perfume-y scent. Laundry enthusiasts are assuming it is made on the same line as original Tide in a country to our south and picks up just a little bit.

Non-scented,clean, thorough detergent
Ordered this since I couldn't find it at my local Sam's club. It's great with no scent, and it doesn't make my skin itch. only using 1-2 tablespoons per load

Cleaner Clothes, Less Skin Irritation
I feel like I've tried a zillion laundry detergents looking for one that is a) a powder, b) gentle on sensitive skin, c) actually cleans my clothes really well. Tide Clean and Gentle Powder is coming close to being perfect. It definitely does a better job on my kid's softball uniform and oily kitchen towels than any of the eco-brands I've tried (maybe it's the lipase?). I really like that it's a powder, and I'm not paying for a plastic bottle or a jug of mostly-water. There are a couple of drawbacks for me: I think it's a pretty strong detergent that might be fading the colors/finish of my fabrics. I use a small amount and double-rinse, but I still think my colors aren't coming out quite as bright. My whites look great. There is a fragrance. It's light and pleasant, but I don't think it's quite as gentle on my sensitive skin (with eczema) as other brands' free and clear products. I feel like I've had a little minor irritation on my face since I started using it. Look - I wish it was even more eco-conscious, and I wish it was completely fragrance free. But until I find a really eco-friendly, free and clear product that cleans as well as this one does, I'll be using Tide.

Works with cold water. Use a different scoop
Good stuff. I use this powder with icy cold water in winter, and it dissolves fully, as long as it goes in the machine with the clothes and not in the upper drawer. Note: the measuring cup that comes with it is much too big, too hard hard to read for a normal load (which is at the lowest line of five lines). So I keep another scoop of the right size in the box.

No plastic. Cleans well. No scent.
Works great. Cleans well and doesn't leave any scent.

Strong scent, unusable.
I really wanted to like this, the spiritual successor to the good old Free and Gentle powder. Unfortunately, the box I received smelled EXACTLY like original Tide powder - truly indistinguishable, and it didn't fully come out in the wash or dryer either. This has been happening to enough people that The Wirecutter asked Proctor and Gamble about it. P&G admitted that this powder is made on the same manufacturing line in Mexico a their regular Tide powder, and they don't clear the line before switching. As a result, boxes from early in the manufacturing run pick up the left over scent, and boxes by the end of the run are relatively scent-free. I don't like blind boxes, and I definitely don't like blind box laundry detergent scents, so I'll be getting a refund from P&G and not buying this in the future.
