xTool F1 Lite

This item work great out of the box it really works good on cutting plastics and the software is easy to use works great with the computer setup was easy instructions were great the laser is just what I need to get started on my engraving journey

I think this is a good machine for what it does. I have several other lasers, including a couple diode gantry type lasers and a fiber laser. I needed this to do batch jobs on cork and didn't want to sped too much. My fiber won't do cork and the diodes take too long. Even though this is still a diode laser, the galvo mechanism allows for faster speeds than a gantry type laser. The work area is not large and it is no where near as fast or powerful as a galvo fiber, but as long as your expectations are reasonable this would be a good starter machine to learn the ropes on lasering.

The F1 lite is so easy to setup and use, very beginner friendly. You will lose track of time just creating and engraving fun projects. Have about 3 hours of engraving time of the machine so far and zero issues, still aligned and calibrated, I do use it a lot. Really recommend as a beginner setup.

Not to meany ppl have the f1 lite so its hard to find videos for it It is a great laser but i dont recommend getting one with out a ir laser mainly because you need the ir laser to do very vivid images on slat coaster the lite can do it but the images dont get bright as they would with a ir laser It will do metal but only if its painted or has a oxide on it like the business cards It can do some depth images but only on some materials but dont expect much from that if you want very high details id only use it on wood or some acrylics Im not sure about glass or crystal at this point but i think it has to be uv or co2 for good images with out breaking the object The thing to keep in mind about lasers is you need about 3 different ones because each one is better for different material they can work on multiple materials but some have much higher image quality then other depending on the material

This is the best laser I’ve found for intricate engravings on wood. It’s portable, fast, and easy to use. The work area is less than a 4 inch square- but if you want to do small, detailed work on wood this is your best bet. This is my second x-tool. I was willing to spend 5x this price- but this suited my needs better. I use it for wood (1/8 inch) and cardboard. It works well with SVGs or black and white PNGs. I also really like x-tool’s software!

Wow. This thing is absolutely amazing. I do cutting boards in my free time when I'm not working. I was looking for something better than the Branding Iron and torch which is someone's else's design and unbelievably inconsistent. Now I can import images and create my own logo from images I can get on the internet and save to my desktop, to bring into the software and burn on the boards. I also imported my signature by scanning a piece of paper with signature on it with my scanner. Makes my work look so much more professional with an etched signature. The software is mostly intuitive but also simple, which is nice. I imported a picture of my girlfriend's dog and burned it into a piece of thin Birch, she was absolutely ecstatic about it. That was worth the price right there.

The instructions might look scary but it’s a nice relatively easy to use machine. Consult YouTube if you need any help.

I have had and M1 for 3 years and wanted to add to my offer. I couldn't have picked a better machine than this F1 Lite. The quality of the engraving is outstanding. The speed is amazing for such a small unit and Good Lord the small footprint it takes up in my office this fantastic! I couldn't be happier with this machine. If you looking for a small engraver, this is a GREAT option!
