Very functional second phone
I dropped the Armor X31 Pro a couple of times while in the backyard, and it hasn't shown a scratch. Battery life time is pretty average, a bit less than the iPhone. The flashlight button on the side is something that I probably use more often than expected, from walking the dog to checking around the garage at night. I don't use this as my main phone so it is good that they designed it very functionally. The pictures are pretty good from the camera, but I mostly just take screenshots.

Who's military standards?
This review of the phone that I purchased through Amazon. The phone was said to be up to military standards? My review starts like this who's military standards? Certainly not any country military not using bow & arrows along with the deadly slingshot. I had the phone 2 months & that was all she wrote. I was helping a friend move left my phone on the roof of his truck(standard F-150) as we're driving down the street with loaded truck we hear a bang sound from the back of the truck I looked in the mirror & there's my phone bouncing off the side rail of the truck & into the street . He stops I get out retrieve the phone only to see that the screen is totally & completely smashed. I'm guessing these military standards are based on the time of the revolutionary war. So let me finish this review as quickly as the phones life span. Decent enough calls were clear & text messages sent & received without fail so the basics worked well but the longevity of the phone isn't what I would have liked it to be especially for the money spent. Although I will say that after the screen shattered the alarm I had set for wake up to work continued till I finally had enough & tossed it into a near by dumpster for my own piece of mind & not having the daily reminder that I just got screwed until the long life battery would eventually die. I could've bought 6 phones off of craigslist for that amount of money & they all would have done exactly the same services with the same results but at least if one broke I could've had an immediate back up with 4 more to go. Don't buy this phone it's not worth the aggravation

Average Budget No-Name Android
This phone is basically a budget Android device with some rugged style design elements that give the impression of added durability. On the surface, it works and it functions as a phone, you can install apps, and it gets the job done for basic use. That said, there are several things worth pointing out. Performance-wise, the chipset is quite slow, and while it’s usable for light day-to-day tasks, it definitely feels sluggish. The phone also feels a bit bulky in hand, though the display is bright and clear, which is a plus. One of my concerns is the marketing, which I found to be misleading. For example, the listing repeatedly mentions 16GB of RAM but it’s not real physical RAM. It’s padded with virtual memory, which doesn’t perform the same, and feels disingenuous. After doing some research, I found that this brand doesn’t have a great track record for software support. If regular Android updates and security patches matter to you, this likely isn’t the phone for you. Brands like Samsung or even a cheap Google Pixel from a couple years ago offer far better long term support, even for their entry level models. All in all, while this phone technically works, there’s little reason to choose it over a similarly priced device from a more established and reliable brand. I can’t really recommend it.

I bought the x31. pro. i honestly will never buy another brand again, no more crazy expensive iphones, i am ever impressed by both the quality and robust build . ive filmed under water. the ram, rom, the chipset and battery make these phones a powerhouse , the xarmour series is amazing , i have broken , lost several iphones over the years at work or worse yet dropped and broke something within the phone. and been frustrated these casings are far better than otter box imo, slightly rubberized backing as apose to hard slippery plastic. no need for a case with these. i was at first hesitant to switch being used to iphone . so glad i did , the 120hrtz refresh rate and extended ram, make streaming smooth as any , i really went and studied these phones prior to buying seeing both others testing the durability and the company itself, and both yield the same . its not a budget rugged phone its a great phone that doesnt break the bank. only phone ive had with two sim slots , one work # one personal #. my experience has been great and for me ,I willl only buy ulefone from here on out, thermal unit next most deffinitly for me , the battery lasts me two days its great. love it. heat and cold it easily can withstand far more than your normal phone without a doubt. cold here in canada so in winter the battery and phone freezes and would shut off, ulefone has taken this into account. so many features . perfect work phone, great for outdoors or just in the office. jason lattrulo

When I received the phone, I was disappointed it had to be user programmed to accept the Public Mobile sim card and network. This took several hours of research on Google. Additionally I have been getting multiple complaints from friends and colleagues that texts and phone calls go unaswered despite not appearing on my missed call log. Additionally, several time a day I have to complete a phone restart in order to be able to make outgoing voice calls and I suspect this is the same issue interrupting incoming voice calls. Additionally I have found several apps including many podcast apps are either glitchy or almost unusuable. The battery life is however excellent (quick charge is very fast) and the Android interface is easy to use. The 5G reception is also excellent. Also it seals up extremely tight so I don't doubt the water resistance. It is certainly a rugged platform. For this reason I give it 2 stars vs only 1. Unfortunately it has been a frustrating experience. Update: Ulefone product support contacted me and offered a refund. While the issues I had with the phone remain, I was very impressed that they backed their product. Very nice to see.

Surprisingly impressive phone. No bloatware, pure Android 15. Full engineering menu access to the systems firmware settings to configure full capabilities across the national roaming network. Confirmed band aggregation capabilities on both 4G/LTE and 5G. I don't use 5G because of the power consumption so I configure the phone for max battery and seamless Data and VoLTE HD roaming on 4G/LTE. The firmware access makes this very easy to do. The Dimensity chipset is frugal and powerful. I set this phone up on Freedom Mobile's 250GB Global roaming plan for $40/month and I'm going to use it as a Rugged motorcycle GPS/media system while on the road. Bought this phone on sale for $259, worth every dollar IMO.

Be careful if you buy a phone from amazon. The phone I had received was apparently returned by someone else due to defects. The armor x31 Pro I received came with a screen protector already installed. It also came with an extra screen protector in the package. I thought that was odd but everything else appeared as if the product was new. I had multiple issues with the armor x31 Pro and worked with ulefone support to resolve. The support I received from ulefone was excellent!! However, eventually the phone had to be shipped back to their lab and they arranged for a refund. When I receive my new phone (an Ulefone armor x16 Pro) it came with a screen protector but not one pre-installed. It was then I realized the original x31 Pro I purchase from Amazon have been returned by someone else. My 3 stars rating is because my new ulefone armor x16 Pro is excellent (this is my third phone from ulephone). Had I received a new ulafone armor x31 Pro from Amazon it may have also been excellent. The poor experience caused by Amazon shipping me a previously returned defective phone prevents a five star review here.

No owners manual or instructions available. Text messages sometimes come in locked up, unable to open them. Went to repair shop for this, he unlocked those texts but it changed the wallpaper on the screen. Watching a video the other night and could feel electrical current leaking from charging port. I'm returning this phone.
