Prototype 2: Radnet Edition (PS3)

I brought this for my husband as part of his Christmas treats. He said it is an excellent game and as an avid xbox fan it was a change for him to play his ps3 more now. He loves it. To me it had good graphics and kept him quiet for hours! He did not get bored with the game over the whole Christmas and still has more stuff to do on there!

As addictive as the first game and continues the story line with options for a 3rd game!Also if you get chance to download the additional game options, I strongly advise you do so!

I purchased this game for my son, who thinks it's a very good quality game with good graphics and plenty of levels to play. The only down side is he finished the whole game in 3 days!!.

I thought the game and the whole plot was better. It was very predictable and after a while it got a little boring - but that's just my opinion. Overall the game is cool and one gets to take the mind out of the gutter but that's not an essential.

Completely damaged package, and not even an PS3 Blu-Ray standard case. what the hell... Not to mention not being the Radnet Edition....

Did anyone play the first Prototype game? Well I did for my sins and it was the definition of a poor mans infamous which surpassed it in all areas of gameplay. I actually didn’t buy it until I got the second title as a gift and after playing it I wondered how a sequel was given the green light to be made. I have never understood how a company can make a bad game initially and then not improve it in a sequel, it just doesn’t make sense, as you would think it is harder to improve on a really good first title. All the developers had to do was listen to some of the more constructive feedback from consumers or to be more sneaky just look at what infamous did right.Anyway, Prototype 2 for the few that have played the first title is basically more of the same with a slightly better sheen in terms of graphics. I was expecting better gameplay, a bit of depth to it that was missing from the first game but what you actually get is more of the noise from the first game. This is gaming for the Michael Bay fan club in terms of a lot of explosions and little in the way of storyline, think of it as a playable version of a Transformers movie without the robots!I actually wanted to like this game but unfortunately it felt like a bit of a slog even though it is not actually that difficult on the average setting and is not a particularly long game. The game basically in a nutshell is go to point B consume person A beat up infected and that is it, this game is as deep as puddle in the sahara.I would love to tell you about the side missions but even these are carbon copies of the above formula and after you have done one or two you will gladly skip these, which is what I did as they are just distractions from the end goal of completing the game in as short as time as possible.What positives are there to this game? The cut scenes have a nice graphical style to them and the game should be quite cheap now as it has been out a while and even after its release the price dropped like a stone. Other than that I guess if you want a game to play where you can just switch off and hit a few buttons mindlessly then I guess this is perfect for you apart from the constant noise on screen which will probably keep you overly stimulated if you can make out what is going on.

Bought this as a gift, it came early and was in a great condition. The cover had a broken bit but other than that it was perfect

Great intense game great if you love just pure destruction fun to just go around and go nuts
