This model is awesome, has everything needed to show the various parts of the eye. It is large and easy to see the parts of the eye, very robust. I was able to show our grand daughter what they did on her eye surgery. Great for describing lasik surgery and some of the disadvantages, easy to clarify the difference between cataract surgery and lasik. Very few people have much of an understanding of the mechanics of the eye. This model makes it so much easier to describe and have people follow what you are telling them , I wish I had it years ago.

I like the attention to detail in this model, but the parts are too easy to lose. The lens doesn’t need to in four separate pieces, since two of the pieces are for sliding in the iris and cornea. Overall, though, nicely made and a good value for the money.

Very detailed. A lot bigger than it appears to be tho.
