I ordered this at first thinking that it came with one filter. After I ordered it, I again looked at the description to see it did not mention that it included a filter but it did in a different model made and sold on here by Waterdrop. So, I ordered one of those (I think it's a newer model) because it clearly said that it came with one filter thinking, I'll return this one without the filter. Turns out this one did come with a filter. That would be great except that now I have one extra unit and they want over twenty bucks to return either one of them, so returning it would make zero sense. It would be nice if Waterdrop would contact me and help me out with this. They do both look like a good product. Looks very similar in build quality to Brita, and hopefully with less frequent filter changes. They did contact me and to compensate me sent me another filter. I'm satisfied.

I like this item. My only grow is that they don't make them slimmer for frdge counter space saving

Waterdrop is my favorite water filter and this is a very good pitcher, although I do recommend the 10 cup instead of the 7 cup, it is great, just don't drop it and make sure to use replacement filters. Krystal has been an exceptionally good customer service rep who helped me despite this pitcher being out of warranty and I appreciate that she went above and beyond for what it is that the white plastic water chamber had cracked when it dropped. Make sure to buy a 3 pack of Alkaline filters at some point if you actually are serious about water filtering, they cost more than the standard 200 gallon filters and filter 100 gallons each instead of the standard 200 gallons, but they are absolutely great for a person trying to improve their gut health.
