We had purchased several "premium sheets" sets only to be disappointed with them. Some were so thin others (sheex) were made of material that we found to be foreign to what we had been accustomed to. These Chateau sheets have substantial cotton fabric that is really wonderful to slip into.The sheets are incredibly well engineered, the corners of the fitted sheet are the best that I have ever used. Once the sheets are put in place they are not going to move or become un-anchored from the corner.We have split king Purple mattress' and power lift / recline and these sheets have always stay in place when, well you know...Highly recommended!

This are some very nice sheets. I bought them for my guest bedroom and my guests liked them so much they asked for my purchasing information. They look a little silky, which worried me but they are certainly not silk! I think the colors are a bit muted when you get the sheets then when you see them on the internet, but they are still a nice color and comfortable.

I did not like buying without feeling but I took the chance and I am happy. these sheets are heavy weight but soft and slightly silky feeling, they just say quality. Deep pockets not skimpy on size fits my king very well. I have them in my cabin that I rent out because I want them to have the best and I have the best. i went back and bought more of these, worth every penny

Although the picture is deceiving ... I really liked the "thin" stripe in the pattern on the picture, but what I got was the standard "thick" striping that is associated with striped sateen cotton sheets ... these are very nice, high quality 100% cotton sheets. As such, I EXPECT that they are not "wrinkle free". But, hey, they're going on my bed and will be covered by my top bedding! What matters is how they feel, and they feel great. They feel much heavier than 600 TC. Since cotton breathes, and they have a nice 'hand' (or feel) to them, they will work great year long in our KCMO winters and summers. Although I wish I received the pattern shown in the pic, I would buy again in different colors.

I was a bit leary of the low number of reviews, but decided to give this a try. First, it is NOT for mattresses up to 18 inches. The package says up to 16 inches. If the photo uploads, you will see what you will actually get...not Chateau Hotel Collection. There is a nasty smell as well, but I am not sure if it is really the fabric or from the cardboard box used to give shape to the sheet set in the platic package. I checked the corner seams on the fitted sheet and noticed them unraveling. So I spent about 15 min tying off the threads before more of the corner seams unraveled. I will most likely have to break out the sewing machine to further reinforce. As for the fabric, it is very thick and stiff, and that really isn't a complaint. My husband tends to sleep hot and this stiffer fabric might actually feel cooler for him. I wouldn't have even bought this product except that he surprisingly loves Egyptian cotton sheets at 1000 or greater thread count. So, I am actually being generous giving this 3 stars when it truly deserves less since I have bought cheap 100% cotton sheet sets at half the thread count that have lasted over a decade of use without any seams let alone the corner seams of fitted sheets unravelling. I might down grade to less than three after my husband sleeps on it...verdict is out until he tells me good or bad. Truth in description would be a great start to improving this product on Amazon.

I don't understand any of the less than 5-star reviews. These sheets are the heaviest, softest, most luxurious sheets I have ever owned. Absolutely gorgeous sateen weave! The heft of these sheets means it will not be coming off the corners which is one of my pet peeves. There was NO foul smell out of the packaging, and after being washed was the first night slept in and it produced a wonderful, comfortable night's rest. I WILL definitely be purchasing these again, and HIGHLY recommend to everyone.

The sheet set was good quality percale, and the color was true to the picture. It fits my bed well. I am giving 4 stars because I have not washed and dried it yet, so I am waiting till I do to upgrade to 5 stars.

I adore Chateau sheets! They are well made, as always, with solid and sturdy stitching. Additionally, the value of 100% pima cotton in this price range is a big deal. Differences in the ones I ordered here on Amazon opposed to the ones I purchased at a high end retailer are minimal (tags are generic on these opposed to luxe look from store) and the extra elastic on the corners (on these)...but I really appreciate this part btw for excellent fit!! I LOVE THESE SHEETS!!!!
