As a full time videographer and video editor for a local company and doing my own freelance gigs on the side i have used this gimbal extensively I got it the same week it was available on Amazon and have probably used it for about 20 shoots -It is very durable -The battery life on it is solid. I have never ran out of battery on a single shoot except on a 8 hour + wedding where i was pushing the gimbal very hard, (i was using a full size full frame camera with a 24-70mm lens which i was zooming in and out with constantly) and even then i was able to top up the battery for 10 mins with a battery bank and continue with no problem or stress -It balances quite easily -It is much lighter and easier to use for longer durations of time compared to the DJI RS3 Pro and DJI RS4 which i was using previously -The auto lock feature is highly highly convenient and it use it a tone on every shoot -My shots come out very smooth when using it and i personally like the DJI Gimbals’ response curves a lot (i have used Weebil Gimbals in the past and could never quite 100% nail my movements with them, no matter how I customised the speed and sensitivity of them) I would say for the money you can’t get a better gimbal It is more affordable compared to the bigger RS gimbals but feels almost exactly the same (in balance, auto locking, movements etc), except it’s just a bit smaller I would recommend it to anyone just starting out with videography or anyone that needs serious performance for a more affordable price I would just say i wish the battery was detachable, and i wouldn’t recommend it to those who highly value the swappable batteries of the bigger RS Gimbals or the different handled/ attachments that you can use with the bigger RS gimbals I always use my gimbals in the standard lollipop configuration so having side handles or fancy attachments has never been a deal breaker for me All around i would say it’s a 9 out of 10

Does what a Gimbal does. Great quality and weight is just fine. Cant go wrong with DJI gimbals.

This is a great first Gimbal! Love everything about it so far! I purchased the DJI RS4 Mini. At the time I didn't realize my Canon R10 wasn't listed as compatible with it so when I tried to connect my camera to it and nothing happened is when I realized my mistake. Before returning this I updated to the latest firmware and in my case the Mini now recognizes my R10 and I can now use the record button on the gimbal. Everything else seems to work now feature wise and I'm definitely keeping this. I also purchased the tracking module and a brief case handle for it separately. This is my first Gimbal. I wanted to try one without breaking the bank and I'm very happy with it. Build quality is awesome and I like the auto locking locks when you power it on. It's not hard at all to balance. For first time users DJI has a YouTube video that's very helpful walking you through first time set up and balancing both horizontal shooting and vertical mounting positions. It seems to be with the latest firmware update more cameras may have been added that were not previously compatible with the Mini. I can't say this officially, but in my case my R10 now works with it. This is an excellent Gimbal for folks like me who are new to this. Giving this 5 stars because of the firmware update.

This is the best gimbal I have ever owned and I now own 2 of them. It is so lightweight and easy to use. It instantly connects to my camera via bluetooth so I can stop and start recordings from the gmbal. The auto lock and unlock feature is an absolute must! Plus it has the auto tracking? And the quick release for switching from horizontal to vertical? This gimbal has it all! Once you try this gimbal you won't be able to go back to your old one. I am using this gimbal with my Sony A7S III and A7 IV. I rock these with no cage, small lenses such as the Sony 35mm 1.8 or the Sigma 16-28mm 2.8. If you use a cage or long heavy lenses this will not be able to balance them. Falcam offers a native quick release plate that makes this way better. And I have also added Spiderholster attachments to this stabilizer so I can mount it to my waist when not in use. This is an absolutely incredible gimbal and an amazing price. I can't recommend it enough!

I've been using this gimbal for several months now and have largely found it to be excellent, but I do have some complaints with it. To start, it's very smooth and has a ton of adjustments for dialing in just the right movement speeds. It's also reasonably lightweight and the battery life is solid. I find it harder to balance than the FeiyuTech Scorp I have, but the Scorp is considerably larger (and smoother), but the RS4 Mini is very comparable. I also think the build quality is better on the FeiyuTech and this being my first DJI gimbal, I was a little surprised by how cheap some of the plastic feels. It has been durable and I haven't had any issues, but I think the creaky plastics could be considerably better. It was pretty easy getting it connected to my phone, but the process of balancing the gimbal is involved and DJI's tutorial videos are terrible; they're super slow to load and seek around and just generally not good to use. I also didn't like how they used a proprietary quick-release plate which meant I had to buy an aftermarket Falcam part in order to use my standard ARCA quick-release plates with it. Again, not a huge deal but compatibility would've been nice out of the box. For all of my complaints though, it's an excellent gimbal and works really well. Due to the size, this is usually the one I grab and I use it both with my Lumix camera and my phone, so it's fairly versatile. I think there's some room for improvement in the next version, but it's still an awesome gimbal and well worth it if you shoot a lot of video and want professional looking movements.

The pan axis kept drifting to the right . Tried all kinds of calibrations. Contacted dji and they said just return the product, defective

Llevaba tiempo queriendo tener un gimbal y por fin me decidí por éste y no puedo estar más contento. Se nota que ha evolucionado mucho y creo que le daré bastante uso. Tamaño compacto, equilibrado de los ejes bastante fácil y posibilidad de grabar en vertical de forma muy rápida. Todavía tengo que utilizarlo más para realizar una opinión más amplia, pero lo haré
