These knives cut everything like butter. They're beautiful. You do need to dry them immediately after washing because I've noticed some rust on my paring knife, but the full tang makes a difference, no wiggle when you cut anything more difficult like butternut squash.

All the knives came in a good condition and all the tips were protected with extra small plastics. They seem to work well, I now have a good new knife collection.

It's a wonderful knife set. Some of the smaller knives I did not need. However, the two Santoku knives I received are wonderful along with another knife very useful in chopping vegetables. I'm glad I ordered this set. I recommend this product.

THOUGHT THE KNIVES WOULD BE SHARPER

Used this knifes this week and I got rid of my old stock. It was worthed.

The first times I used these, I somehow sliced through a few layers of skin on my fingers, and almost shaved off part of my fingernail so EASILY... Whoa, dude. I was slicing/chopping something, and the knife just grazed my nail -- if I hadn't caught it, it literally would have gone completely through the nail, to the nail bed below.Um, yeah. Good knives.It's peculiar, but surprisingly really handy, that each knife comes separately sealed in its own plastic box, so we can just open one at a time as we need them. I don't see any need to open them all at once. We're about to open our third, and won't have to figure out how to safely pack the others when we move.I hope these last longer than a few months without getting super dull, like our last set did. (Some black coated set of six or so with ripples in the blades, that I don't see on Amazon any more.)

I only used one of the knives so far and it is sharp so be careful. So far ,so good. Item as described. I hope they last me a long time.
