May not fit acclaimed!
Did not fit my 2010 Ford F150 even though ad claims it would. The rubber seal was too wide preventing it from going into the thermo housing. I took the seal off the unit and used my old gasket. it then fit. I am not returning it because I had to modify it to make it work. Much to often I find some amazon parts will not fit as claimed.

Dont buy the ring option
Good thermostat but o-ring is not correct for 1997 f150 4.6. I had to buy that separately and will need wait for that to arrive.

No gasket?
Great thermostat but it doesn't come with the rubber gasket.

Thermostat works, gasket not so much
I tested the thermostat before using it and it opened at exactly the temperature it said it was going to, 77 C. Unfortunately the gasket it was sent with did not fit in my 1998 Mustang GT, so I had to buy a gasket separately for this.
