Good buy!😁
I like the brass hose reel swivel attachment for water hose going to spigot it but I would prefer hard rubber tires instead of air fillled.Air filled tires these tend to leak all the time don't know about these I used the ones off my old hose reel which were hard tires handles a little wobbly could be made to fit a little tighter but I will give the product of 5 * I think it will hold up for the price I paid for it, I think it is a good value. You would be pushing it to get 250' of quality hose on reel.

Good, sturdy reel. Easy to wind up.
I just bought this. It went together pretty quick. Given that it is painted steel, I do not expect it to last for decades. What I like about the design is that both ends of the reel are supported (bearings) instead of a cantilevered design with a bearing on only one end. It rolls up very easily. I have three plastic reels that never seemed easy to wind. It doesn’t have any brakes on it.One drawback that another reviewer commented on was that since the core consists of 4 rods rather than a cylindrical piece of sheet metal, the first row of hose tends to get some bending at each point of contact with those rods. My fix was to cut off about roughly 12’ length of old garden hose and reel that up as the first row. This first row is not connected to the water supply it is just used to cushion my nice fancy new hose. That seemed to work very well for me.If they made the same design completely out of stainless steel and stainless steel fasteners, I’d be happy to buy one ... oh, but use stainless steel sheet metal as the center roll. And yes, I’d expect to pay $350 or more but it would likely last the rest of my life.

easy peasy
I like how easy it is to wind and unwind the hose . I have 200 feet of heavy rubber hose and being a senior lady I do not have any issue using the hose reel. The inflatable wheels make it very easy to move. After years of hinting to my son that I really like the looks of these reels and hoping to get one for Mother's Day, Christmas or Birthday I finally purchased one myself and it was worth the wait.

Most Stable Hose Reel with Capacity
This is the second of this model I have owned. The reel has capacity to hold more hose than you can imagine, and is not overloaded when full. Hose unreels easily and picks up just as well. The wheels allow easy movement either in the yard or when putting the reel away for storage. I cannot imagine a better hose reel for the money.

No thought went in to this reel
This hose reel is nice looking and sturdy. The leader hose attach point is made such that when you turn the reel at all you must hold it or it just twists the hose and destroys it in like a week. The main attach point is not angled 45 degrees (as even the cheesiest plastic ones are). It is a straight up fitting inviting a crushing kink in your hose at the very first crank of winding it up. So not only to you have to unroll it all the way in order to get water out, it also destroys your main hose. I have jimmy rigged this by attaching a stabilizing hose clamp to the leader hose (attached to the little luggage rack) to keep it from twisting. On the main hose I put a gentle bend from the attach point and used a hose clamp on the reel to keep it from kinking. Extremely poorly engineered.

Strong not sturdy
So this hose reel is very strong however it definitely is not sturdy. It’s almost as those it’s too heavy and what’s to tip over. The wheels are very wobbly and the hose connection has leaked since day one until I fixed it with some plumbers tape and tightened it with wrenches it was leaking. The hose reels up great though and is very strong while pulling a long hose

You had me at brass fittings
Plenty of capacity, all steel construction, brass fittings. No plastic!!! Only had it a month or so so far, but no problems, no leaks. I didn’t like how the hose attaches inside the reel so I added a 90* elbow to get end of hose under the reel. Can’t be beat at this price point.

Easy to put together in about 1/2 hour with common tools. Moves and turns fully loaded with 150ft of garden hose on reel. Dislikes of product is, after reading about rust issues on most of the garden reels out there, I spray painted all parts with clear rustoleum prior to assembly and then after I assembled item, but I hit the handle and part of the reel with the hose end when winding up and it started to rust the next day after it rained, the item doesn't seam stable and with tip over when I have all 150 ft of 3/4 hose out from the the weight of the hose until you get about 1/4 of it wound around reel which if you don't pull the hose and manually feed will put kinks in the hose. I got this for about 1/2 price due to some cash back rewards and for the quality of the reel is still a little over priced since I believe that is will not last long due to rust issue of inferior metal used/
