Just as good…
I go through these things. I’ve been through most of the ones that USB + Lightning charging passthrough. For my use, none of them last for a long time. With that said, this one lasts as long It longer than versions in aluminum cases and that cost 5 times what these little guys cost. Don’t let the feel of it fool you into thinking it’s of low quality. The issues with all of these is the short pig tail of a cable hanging out of them, non-interchangeable combined with the physical limitations of the lightning connector. Those tiny gauge wires break from metal fatigue as all wires do at some point when they move continually. The shorter that little pig tail is, the faster the internal connections degrade. Much like the lightning cables you charge and connect with, you just have to replace them every now and then based on your usage. I’ve tried several lightning extensions. They will slow your charging speed and tend to cause intermittent data errors. At the end of the day, you should note that I’m using these to drop 4 - 8 USB devices moving audio, midi and Ethernet on stage with my iPad. All of that has to happen while providing enough power to keep the iPad at 100% charged. So my use is pretty complicated. But I can tell you from that experience that Having several of these on hand, in user land on backup , will cause far more piece of mind than one of The most expensive versions doing the same thing.
