I plugged in two 256gb Samsung BAR Plus drives, plugged in the power and then plugged it into a 2019 10” iPad with iOS 17.4.1. It was instantly recognized by the Files app and the drives were both labeled ‘Samsung 256G’ and I renamed them ‘Samsung 1’ and ‘Samsung 2’. It also worked on an old iPhone7 running iOS 15.8.2.Using the Files app I was able to look around on both drives and found every thing as I expected.Using Bookplayer I loaded first one and then a second audiobook from Samsung 1 and the copies were at least as quick as when using the official Apple single-usb camera adapter.So on day one at least the device seems to work very well, surprising given the low price. I recently threw away a different vendors device that never worked correctly.

Ordered, didn't consistently work. got replacement, identical problem. Not sure how these can be sold when they don't perform their intended/advertised function. If i repeatedly unplug and plug the device into my ipad, i can occasionally get it to maintain a connection for a few minutes. but the longest i had a stable connection was for only around 5 minutes. Not worth it. literally doesn't function.

I use this to connect my device to an HDMI for a television. Perfect for presentations. No loss of image whatsoever. Saves a lot of money compared to walking in a retail A store.

Does exactly what it advertises. Learned that it can’t double dongle unfortunately.

Since my ipad has a case on it, I wanted to download somethings on to a hard drive and this helped out a lot.

I got this hoping to connect my webcam to my iPad. The power port finally connected after the third try. I discovered my webcam doesn’t work with my iPad, so that wasn’t going to happen anyway and not the fault of this product. The adaptor did make the ring light I plugged into it flicker and skip between settings. None of that has happened since I plugged the light into a usb charger port directly. It looks like an apple but not sure it can act like one.
