Revivex Down Cleaner

So far, this is 5-star. Just received it today and washed 2 thin REI items, a jacket and vest, both down filled and both with makeup stains around the collar and stains around the end of the jacket sleeves. Pre-treated the stains with a small bit of this detergent and water using a soft baby’s toothbrush. Let it sit 15 minutes, then as the instructions on the label said, 1oz per garment, so I put 2oz and washed in hand wash cycle in front load. Though delicate cycle would have probably been ok too. Did 2 extra rinse cycles. Then a medium spin cycle. Then dried a bit air dry but was taking a while so I used low heat and a few XL size wool dryer balls. I don’t remember the vest and jacket being as puffy when I bought them. Also, there doesn’t seem to be any fragrance as advertised. Just a basic “no smell” smell I guess you can call it a clean smell? So it’s ready to hang fresh in the closet until fall comes. And won’t stink up my closet over the next few months with the dusty smell it had before. I’m very satisfied with the results and will be recommending this detergent to friends. So much easier and cost saving than to go to the dry cleaners.

I recently was recommended this product customer service reps from The North Face after I contacted them regarding my down puffer jacket losing both its puffiness and also to some degree its warmth. I was quite skeptical at first to try this, but after using this on my jacket in the washing machine I was completely surprised and amazed how well it worked! It completely restored my jacket to a practically brand new condition and it even seems to be as warm as the first day that I wore it. While I can't say this product is fantastic for stain removal. It definitely helps soften the jacket and has a pleasant smell as well. I would 100% recommend for sad unpuffy jackets. ;)

This brought my parka back to life! I didn't want to $100.00 to have my 5 year Canadian Goose parka dry cleaned so I tried this instead. I washed it using Revivex and took my time air drying it in the dryer with some wool balls. It looks and feels better than new. Can't wait to wash all my down items with this. Highly recommend.

This wash was easy to use on my 10 year old down jacket that probably hadn't been washed in 4 years. It is VERY concentrated - the packaging says to use 1 ounce of liquid per jacket. I think you would be able to get by with 0.5, it foams up like crazy. All in all, worked well to clean and fluff up my old down jacket. Recommend, better price point than nikwax for how many jackets it can wash (10.)

Love this down wash. It worked better than the Nikwax one. It got dirt/discoloration out of fabrics, and I was satisfied with the loft afterwards. I am scent-sensitive, and it was also scentless/fragrance-free, which is a huge plus.

Purchased to clean our down coats. You do need a tablespoon to measure out liquid since cap cannot be used. I did use some spot spray on heavily soiled area around cuffs and front where zipper closure is since these areas were heavily soiled. Coats were pristine after they were dried and the detergent was effective in cleaning the soiled areas that i did not pre-treat.

Worked so well! Wish I’d known this existed years ago for my higher-end coats!

I have never cleaned down jackets at home & this was my first attempt. I was not sure of how to use the product but little searching helped. after the first wash & subsequent drying with 3 tennis balls - The result was very demoralizing & frustrating!! I kind of thought my down jacket is gone & I'll not be able to use it anymore!! But I did not lose complete hope & searched for any helpful input online. I found some tips which were very helpful. The jacket was not dry after initial recommended drying. I let it air dry overnight & then again put it in the dryer with 3 tennis balls. This time when it came out it was well dry & fluffy and I got my Down Jacket back!! I washed a few more after and followed the same procedure, air dry overnight after the initial machine dry. then again put it in the dryer with tennis balls (i used three, came in a single pack) - result was great every time. This is a much-recommended product but you need to have patient to get the benefits!! It may need more time to dry that projected on the package instructions.

El producto me parece muy bueno, sirve, hace su función y todo lo que promete. El empaque: me parece muy bien que sea una bolsita, pero esa tapa es inservible. Te la ponen en el video como "medida" a aplicar pero la verdad es que es acto de fe, realmente no sabes cuanto estás echando y luego tienes que estar escurriendola o se te hace un desmadre porque no tiene algún método de "retorno de liquidos" entonces terminas manchada, etc. Este es el único tema a cambiar.

Works very well. Down and feather loft restored.
